LeoReplay 280
So I have been thinking about Gaga’s and her team’s strategy for this era. It’s definitely new for her. First of all, the singles aren’t being massively promoted. They didn’t get any merch or physical copies. (Gaga has talked a lot about being more conscious with resources nowadays) Also no official remixes released. Abracadabra doesn’t even have an official single cover! No live performances either. Is she letting the music and the visuals speak for themselves? Do you think they have something bigger or special planned for the next days? Is she saving live performances for Coachella and Rio? 1

Decodekid 27,425
In terms of gigs and appearances I've changed my opinion on this recently. Experiencing things as they come might feel like not much is happening, but tbh there's been a reasonable amount of stuff happening since DWAS was released. It may not feel much but I think what's made everything unbearable is not knowing her next move, back then we sort of knew her schedule ahead of time and we were always expecting something, now it's like something happens and then we're like: Like imagine knowing months prior all the things we've gotten up to now, something to look forward to, idk. Now in terms of Mayhem not having a single performance yet idk I can't defend you on that one Gaga Long Live Gretchen

River 108,429
Any abra promo would have been overshadowed by the superbowl and SNL. so it was a smart move to waste them both on different songs. His fart felt like a kiss 9

RAYA.core 749
Media has changed in the way that we digest...She did give us single performances of Disease on her own YouTube channel with different versions. The performance may not have been to an audience or on a certain news media platform...DWAS has performances. But where better than organically coming from her fan community like us and on her own terms to showcase those wins. She sprinkled in alot of press in her own way with Grammys, SNL, Hot Ones. I went to go look at her throwback looks and it really feels like deep down she's being Stephanie. She has Michael, she has her little monsters, and she has her music. GIVE IT TIME Babes I'm just glad we have our THREE singles stuck in my head for days Edited Saturday at 11:24 PM by RAYA.core ╰☆╮𝙸𝚐𝚗𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚑𝚊𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚌𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚒𝚌𝚒𝚜𝚖. Cameltoe Chariot 14,792
Whatever her strategy is, it's working and I wish the little managers would just chill the f*ck out and enjoy it. I know you said "no negativity" and what you said in your OP isn't bad, but we just got the best song/video of her career and we're still finding ways to speculate on how her team functions and whether or not they're doing a good job lmao The worst part about being a Gaga fan is... other Gaga fans ...a true reverse warholian expedition methinks 4 2 2
Divine 1,688
Honestly, I think they are focusing more to securing sales in the album rather than singles. Since albums are more treated as a whole experience now by most people. (a lot do a whole review, etc.) I have hopes for Abracadabra since Gaga has a line up of performances like Coachella and other known performance news. Let's all wait. We did have faith for DWAS, let's see how Abra will turn out because it's boiling to be a potential signature hit. "And I still love you even if I can't see you anymore."
Elderflower 7
I think she's busy rehearsing to headline Coachella, Copacabana, and an international tour. I also think she's preparing to do something like SNL. She's cooking, constantly.

A Very Gaga Holida 22,246
Well, the music and videos are really, really, really well made. That’s the main thing I guess. Cause if a weird idea’s good and the execution isn’t perfect, it doesn’t work for the GP. For MAYHEM, the execution of the art has been perfectly clean so far. In terms of promotional opportunities, I have no idea what they’re going for. Gaga’s unpredictable. She has a habit of doing the most on the album’s release week, so let’s wait and see. It’s quite competitive right now and she’s still doing amazing with DWAS and very good with Abra, so maybe they want the way to be clearer when they play their cards? I least I hope so, cause I’m starving for a true pop experience again.

Bling 31,286
Unless something changes over the next few weeks, I really think they are taking the approach of having her live "new Gaga music" performances sacred and saving them for paid events. From a marketing standpoint, this is an amazing idea as it will drive concert sales through the roof. Icons like Prince and Bowie were similar in limiting their public performances. From a fan standpoint, it kind of sucks but I trust her vision and lets just wait to see what happens. I'd love at least 1 Abra or Disease performance before the album is released...
