That’s absolutely horrible. Nothing luxurious about animal torture smh

Apart from the horrible process of actually obtaining fur, am i the only one that just finds wearing somethings skin gross. Which is kinda hypocritical cuz I eat meat

The reality is that a lot of people still support and want real fur. Even though the fashion industry has been slowly moving away from it, there is still a demand. Reading comments on thefashionspot forum, sadly a lot of commenters dislike faux fur and want real fur back at major fashion houses because that’s still considered luxurious to them.

Well tbf, fur coats rank relatively low on the scale of morality. They pale in comparison to many other harms humans inflict even on one another. While I oppose using fur in fashion, I've always found it hypocritical how passionately people defend animal rights while showing far less empathy toward systemic oppression of human beings worldwide. Even in wealthy cities, the poor are often treated worse than animals. For instance, I've seen countless viral videos of people attempting to steal cats and dogs from homeless people under the guise of "rescuing" them, yet they spare no concern for the actual human beings struggling to survive.

I agree 100% but do you feel the same about leather too? I wonder where most people would draw the line

Well I’ve been vegan for about 6 years now so I’m 100% against any form of animal cruelty. Be it for fashion or food.

Nice! It just makes me wonder about most people against fur — are they also against leather, etc?
