I try to understand when there’s a tragedy and she puts it before her new released single. But this now… 

and don’t get me wrong, it’s not even about the charts. It is more about the fact that we are about to get another era with one  performance on TV? I would love to see different performances with different concepts etc. why not here? I just don’t get it.

I also complain about the fact she didn't - again - perform any of her new singles (agreed with a comment which said an acoustic performance of Disease would have fit too), but I think she's got something planned, bc otherwise I see no reason to do a weekly performance on this terms.

We doubted her releasing Disease four months prior album released and not promoting it. Look how that turned out to be: having a hit-in-the-making with Abracadabra and Disease benefiting from that (it's been getting 1M streams updates daily lately). Disease will end up being, not a huge song, but a cute one with 250-300M streams. A total succes for the album as a whole.

What I'm trying to say is that we complained about things in the beginning but the strategics for this album cycle seem to be doing good somehow. All of this non-promoting-new-era live performances may be because she wants to make Coachella and Copacabana a big momentum? Idk

Obviously it was a wonderful performance, Lady Gaga is wonderful, Shallow is wonderful and it's a pleasure to listen to this song again. But honey...you have a single and an album to promote. I don't understand if it's you or your team who doesn't take the right opportunities. After all the effort to produce this album, do you want to promote it???

My opinion is split on this whole thing. On one hand if she had performed one of her singles then it probably would’ve seemed out of place. 
But on the other, she’s releasing an album in less than 3 weeks. Has released 3 singles from it and we’ve not received a single televised performance. 
(It’s also bizarre that she performed Shallow and not DWAS)
