Just because the roots are connected to Latin roots doesn’t mean it’s not gibberish lmao. That would be like saying because the spoken interludes in Scheisse include words in German and Spanish that it’s not gibberish.

I don’t speak Latin but i can if you like? :enigma:

Portuguese uses “amor” and “morta” on a daily basis.

That's the only one I didn't check :ladyhaha:

The way I understand it is:

Abracadabra is the beginning of the 'spell'

Amor o na na - love or nothing

Morta o Gaga - Gaga or death - understanding that she IS Gaga, and she has to keep on going, coming to terms with her own darkenss

I actually wrote an essay on this :vegas:

It’s actually: Morta eau gaga

It’s a fun Easter egg to remind us that she really hates making and marketing perfumes and never will again.

I studied Latin in my schooldays over a hundred years ago, and I can tell you definitively that ... ehh ... that that's completely irrelevant.

Regardless, those of you who say that is not gibberish, take a bow, you are correct. The rest of you, I'm sorry.

The pre-chorus makes it clear that the chorus is going to be a spell, and if it's a spell you can say whatever tf you like and it isn't gibberish ... because it's a spell.

And amor and morta are Portuguese ? Ok Brazil, on your motherf----n feet !
