He didn’t release anything else that would’ve qualified besides the diss tracks. His recent album GNX missed the grammy deadline but will likely be nominated next year.

In ONE night, Kendrick won the same amount of Grammys drake won over his whole career, and he did that with a diss track about drake  It's almost poetic

the reception to kendricks performance is def mixed. 

gaga had a lot of haters in 2017 but her performance was universally praised, even her haters bowed down. 

kendricks social messages are great but his rapping, and overall performance was extremely lacklustre. i mean rihanna had a better performance and was doing it while pregnant 

if a woman had given the performance kendrick did, they would be bashed. but since its a man, and since hes a rapper, ppl are just saying "oh you dont get it or its not for you" 

nah its just not good. even with artists i hate i can admit when something is good. i hate katy perry but i can admit her halftime show was solid. i like kendrick, i love his older cuts, but i just feel like his performance was lazy

I guess people were really invested in the Drake drama, cause that was boring as hell . I made it 4 minutes into the performance and stopped watching, he's not a remarkable live performer, and acts like Beyoncé, GaGa and Madonna set the bar too high. 

I'm glad he got the spot, because I know his song "Not Like Us" was a big cultural thing for the black community in the US, I see that phrase referenced EVERYWHERE on IG, so I get it, it really was a huge hit, even if it wasn't necessarily appealing to me specifically. But still, I don't think he's good enough a performer to carry the halftime show by himself. 

He should've gotten more guests to bring the fun, and catchy vibe you expect from such an event. Still, I'm happy for him, I saw Drake's IG stories, and he seemed to be seething

Pretty funny.  Someone else told me that same line of its not for you and aren't you fun at parties when I said it was god awful.

His show lacked energy. His music is good but he is not a good live performer and is flat.
