The fact that Dance Monkey only peaked at #6 on US Spotify..... a global hit indeed but I didnt get the hype neither like the song, I feel annoyed whenever it got played on radio

Idk the singer seems down to earth.. I think from Australia? & they have this specific term called busking, kind of like street preforming if you’re in the states where you preform for tips.. & Actually that is what song is about, she’s singing her experiences while busking.. It’s just she changed it to dance instead of sing for the song. & pretty sure she continues to busk? Seen a video of her saying that was all she wanted to do but unsure if that’s what she ended up doing or not but still I honesty find it amazing & inspirational that she without any backing was able to create such a massive song

 

Anyways my point being is that u didn’t need to talk smack about that song bc it was undeserved

And yet, I still don't get the appeal of the song  it's not bad in any way, but I feel like it's the most basic song she has ever done  I can enjoy it, but like, it's so mid... there's nothing special about it, and if it wasn't Gaga, I would've never gone back to it tbh 

But I guess that's what makes it so appealing to the GP
