Oh Gaga :( I don't even know what to say. I feel so bad for her and the fans who were looking forward to these shows. Whats really important now is that she heals and rests physically and emotionally, she can't stress about ARTPOP or the tour.

I wish I could hug her :(

Try having tickets for 2 weeks from now... and plans to get into the pit! On top of losing all that glorious crack, a delay in ARTPOP too? But first and foremost is Gaga's health and happiness. That's the hardest part to think about...

I did have tickets for two weeks from now lmao

No, she should not continue with the tour after she heals. She should move on with ARTPOP.

I agree. I think it would be ridiculous for anyone to think she should carry the BTWB on after she's recovered. There would be no point, I think there should be closure to it now. It's time to move on.

It might be easier for her to finish the last month of the tour in early fall (with a couple ARTPOP singles thrown in), then to feel pressured to launch a lengthy ARTPOP Ball in early-mid-2014..

You know guys, it's ARTPOP is knocking in the door. I mean, it's probably GOD wants Gaga did a break and she must forget about Born This Way and release ARTPOP as soon as she will able to.

Really hope she'll get well soon.

For this problem not to arise again in the future, she will need a lengthy rest after the operation, maximum 6 months. The first step in the operation is to inject dye into her hip and then have an MRI scan to realise the full injury. Most people who have this operation are athletes and sports people, and most of them have to stop what sport they do for life (strenuous sports). She will also probably need to begin exercising during her recovery but it'll be nothing more than a light run or swimming (this is possible as soon as 2 months after surgery). Some people still feel pain up to 6 months after rehab and some people are painless a few weeks after surgery. ARTPOP is possible for release this year, but don't expect much dancing.

Edit: we also don't know whether its a degenerative labral tear (occurs after long repetitive movements) or a traumatic (occurs during a fall, or sports). I'm sure she will have the best steroids available for treatment and also the best physiotherapists.

Gaga just called me personally to let me know that she's doing okay (but in a lot of pain) and she wanted to thank me because "you're making me brave."

Thought I'd pass the message along.

And no, don't even ask for the number, cause that ain't happening.

Thank you for letting us know hun. I'm so glad someone from here has been able to talk to her directly.
