In the process of cancelling stuff, we had tickets to three shows but none of that matters to me now, her health is the most important thing. Maybe she'll start listening to what her body is telling her now. i don't think she will want us to see her with a brace on or anything so who knows if we will even get candids for awhile. or maybe will she let us in on this for support and we will have a Gimpga emoticon. lol i just want her to post a picture with a witty caption while she's on heavy meds. oh how i would love to be there when Gaga is literally Loopy. I was going to all three Florida stops for the tour and it was the week of my birthday as well. We're on a fansite dedicated to the woman -- if you're on here you obviously care about her. I was accused of being selfish for being bummed about the fact that I won't get to see her in Philly and State College. I've been following this tour since last April and excited since September when the North American dates were announced. We have every right to be upset. And to accuse people of not caring about her is ridiculous. I think everyone on here, myself included, cares about her a little more than they should. And then to get on someone because they mention ARTPOP -- "How dare you! How can you think about something at a time like this!" Guys -- DJWS, her dad, and she herself have said that she is fine. She will recover and be just fine. She's not paralyzed. She can, and probably will, work on ARTPOP. She will crutch and wheel herself to the studio, or they can bring it to her. Can you really imagine her sitting on her ass for 6 weeks or however long she needs to be off her feet? She has to work. She has to create. So if you're being self-righteous or acting like you know her better or love her more -- Calm the Eff Down! Let people grieve and be bummed out and sad. And continue looking forward to ARTPOP. high heeled fem 3 Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I think its more a lack of rest. The physical demands of dancing like she does (her dancers too) is pretty much. Proper rest and nutrition rebuild the muscles that are worn out. I'm guessing of course, but she stays up for days at a time, barely sleeps, her body had to give out somewhere. Maybe they will give you credit to a future show after she comes back..? im aware of that what im saying is she wasn't trained up enough, didn't sleep enough you are right she wasn't fit enough we all know this!!! Well said. :clap: Yes, Gaga's injured and it's okay to worry about her. But that doesn't mean that talking about ARTPOP is now somehow taboo or that fans who have had their shows cancelled can't be upset that they're missing out. EXACTLY. Is it so wrong for us to be extremely bummed out about a show that was (in my case) days away, which we had been waiting for since she announced the first concepts? Of course, we ALL want Gaga to get better soon, and we all wish her well and want her to be in good health. The majority of you have already seem this tour and are happy to have her call it quits... Because you've seen it already. Very easy for you to say. I'm glad she is taking her break for her long-run health, but I also have every right to be extremely frustrate and annoyed that I will no longer be seeing her VIP at her favorite venue a week from tomorrow. And she's Lady Gaga, she's not going to sit on her ass for months and do nothing with the ARTPOP album, she wouldn't do that. Karren 1 Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 my concert was supposed to be on match 7th only this week did I finally get super excited about it. Now this crushing blow ended it. I just hope that once she is fully recovered she can do a final born this way ball. It didn't deserve to go out like this... A lot of people are talking about pre ARTPOP era..I don't think she'll just move on to the next album. Just bc she had to cancel half oF the US dates doesn't mean the BTW era is over.
