The amount of people worrying about ARTPOP being delayed is too damn high. Jesus christ give her a break for one moment.

ARTPOP is going to have to be delayed too anyway. Her entire schedule will have to be push back by ATLEAST six months.

Nope. Thats why the tour is cancelled. So she can recover. This will probably have little effect on the schedule for ARTPOP.

she's rich, she can have people build a studio wherever she's staying / she can always continue to compose on her laptop without needing a studio. the creation of this album is not going to be hindered by her disability unless she doesn't feel like working on it. and that is the truth of the matter.

I'm grateful I got to see her in Asia. :(

Have you all wondered how SHE must feel? Get your head out of your asses. She must be the one most hurt.

Gaga, please don't give up. I know you won't. :)

I want to say the right things for Gaga right now, but I am also so devastated I won't get to be seeing her in Boston and Uncasville (yes, to make up for missing TMB I bought tickets to 2 BTWB shows). I know this is for the best. It has to be; she has to come back stronger than ever and better than ever for this. Not for me, or any monsters, or any haters, or for ARTPOP... but for herself. That's the only way I can feel better knowing the moments I've anticipated for months will never happen.

I really hope this doesn't make me sound like a selfish fan; I truly want what is best for Gaga no matter what. I just have to grieve the loss of BTWB and (in true Gaga fashion) be super dramatic right now.

I'm so sad I will never get to experience the Born This Way Ball but I am even more heartbroken for Gaga. We all know how dedicated she is to touring and her fans. Most importantly, her health is what matters. I pray she will have a safe and speedy recovery.

I just want to cry right now.

everyone

It's going to be out in 2014, stop thinking about yourself for once and think about the reason we're all on this forum.

So gutted for all the North American fans who didn't see the show! Feel so bad for Gaga, this is her worst nightmare, praying that the surgery goes well, I don't even care about ARTPOP, she just needs to rest and get better, poor thing :(

People need to stop talking about what she's going to do now with the album. You know what she's going to do now? She's going to get the surgery and recover without worrying about fans.

Exactly. Are people really demanding that someone wheelchair her into a studio so she can complete her album? She needs time to just focus on recovery. If she's immobilized and depressed in bed and doesn't feel like working on her album then she sure as hell does not have to. I just really hope she takes this time to feel better but the way she selflessly goes above and beyond is what got her into this situation. :(

At this point, I don't want an ARTPOP tour, and I don't think that Gaga should do one either. If she took a break between ARTPOP and the follow-up, she could do a tour akin to the MonsterBall that combines The Fame with The Fame Monster. That would give her a whole year (if not longer while she writes and releases the follow up) between tours to come up with one that she can do without injuring herself. I think that would be best.
