In general, there was the whole debacle with ‘LoveGame’s lyrics and some countries released either ‘Eh, Eh’ or ‘Paparazzi’ in its place so it would’ve gotten very little promo and probably no physical release, which likely affected its chart performance.
Featured Comment Jase 13,102 Posted Friday at 10:46 PM Featured Comment Share Posted Friday at 10:46 PM A few songs above it are on ACR so this is going to be at LEAST #02 next week, with a legit chance at #01. UK monsters - stream the HELL outta this!

Oh I see! I know Eh Eh was pushed instead of LoveGame in some places like Sweden but I didn't know it wasn't a full-fledged single in the UK. Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something?

I don't know how the rule works but is it something like when a song has been in the top 10 for many weeks straight that it has to lose so many charting points so it stands a big chance of falling? I know there's a lot of songs that have been hanging around since last year (Sailor Song, That's So True, Apt) and I assume they'll fall because of this rule? I totally forgot about that. If so, this means that Abra might really come through? I'd thought top 3 would be great but maybe out of reach but you're saying it could really go all the way? angelduuh 355
My 2 best friends don't really like Gaga, but they have been listening this one non stop. This song is not only liked by us, it's also liked by a lot lot of people. I really really wish she can get another #1 with this one.

I won't bore you too much but your analysis is pretty much spot on. The amount I'm streaming is INSANE.

Although I do remember it got decent radio airplay at the time, enough for the GP to know the song. Unlike the US, where LoveGame came before paparazzi, here, LoveGame charted after paparazzi

So a song needs to have charted for at least 10 weeks before the ACR rule can come into action. So if from the 7th or 8th week, a song starts decreasing each week, it’ll half the points by week 10. Hence why rain on me fell from like #4 to #21 in a single week. Some songs will narrowly avoid ACR though and hang around in the top 10 forever, if say the song had decreased units for 2 consecutive weeks then suddenly surges in the 3rd week
