Yes. This is standard. Chappell's team made a request and they denied it. It's not a big deal. It seems that there were also other things at play besides compensation too. I think this situation is kind of messy and wasn't handled properly tbh

The team did nothing wrong, she simply negotiated, and the artist refuse their offer. There is nothing to cancel Chappell on!

Honestly, I don't know why lots of IG artists have this victim mentality when it comes to these things. Yes, she has a right to feel this way, etc but I don't get why they blast it all publicly. They obviously wouldn't want to pay her for a future opportunity since there's a chance she can flame them again if she doesn't like their offer.

She's acting as if somebody stole her work. That's like me not liking the salary during a job interview and then blasting the employer on social media. So unprofessional.

I mean, I understand why she refused, and respect her decision. But objectively, it would've been great for her business. 

It wasn't just a delulu influencer asking for free labor, the exposure that Chappell Roan gets for her fashion is actually massive. If I was her, I would've probably accepted, it was a legitimately good business opportunity

Those nails are awful but she could've just rejected it or negociate. There's no need to do all of this publicly, it's not like they had an agreement and it wasn't fullfilled. It was just a proposition and tbh, it could've been great for their bussiness and maybe she could've had a future clients on Chappell and people on her team
