I think some were always supporters and now that he's back with a "bigger" win and desensitization from the last time they think it's acceptable. Then some are seeing that this may be a thing that affects them, so they know they're rich and connected enough to be safe from what's coming if they kiss the ring.

I think people are afraid. Maga has the Presidency, it has Congress, it has the DOJ and the FBI, and it has four out of nine Scotus members in its pocket and two more who lean heavily in their direction. If you get offside with them they may very well come after you, and if they do ... who do you turn to ?  So you don't get offside.

The Swifties are gonna eat this up and use it against him. My partner's sister and a very good friend of ours are both big Swifties and they like to share the gossip about Travis and Taylor. Imagine in the 2000s some celebrities' couple is basically becoming the new thing by their public appearances and shenanigans and a year later it comes out one of them supports a dictator  I mean just imagine Brangelina doing that... anyways, the way that I'm almost sure Taylor doesn't even feel a whimpse of pressure to make a public statement just shows how little that endorsement actually meant to her and how much society has already moved towards the extreme of rightwing views to not have any general impact on this
