He's talking about building nice homes in Gaza, with his property developer's hat on. I've heard some people suggest that he's trolling, but I don't think he is. I think he genuinely wants to create a business opportunity. We probably all know people who have too much self-confidence and who lack empathy for others. Normally if you have these traits you will just be dislikeable, and that's about as far as it goes, but there has to come a point surely where those traits become so strong that you cross over into the territory of madness. The sheer brass neck, the level of self-assurance, needed to try to overturn the result of a presidential election in the US is unfathomable to me. And now we have this, a proposed solution to the Gaza conflict which is not only shocking on its face, but which is partly driven by a desire to create a business opportunity for himself and his cronies.
