Song is great and it’s exactly what early-era fans wanted for a long time. To me while the dark aesthetics and industrial beat remind me of TFM/BTW eras, to me it feels very ARTPOP! It’s a more familiar sound that can help make it a hit with the gp and the gays. So far I love all 3 songs on Mayhem and their videos. It’s been flawless and hope she is enjoying it as much as we are!

1. Disease’s numbers are already more than solid.

2. This one is about to eat and leave no crumbs, trust me.

3. Don’t stress over the charts too much; the impact will speak for itself.

I was at a party with the Grammy’s on but other music playing. When eating Thai food with a group of daddies, suddenly I noticed so much dancing on the TV. I was literally gagging on my green curry when I noticed it was Gaga.

For many, many years, the fanbase hoped she would release certain songs, that were darker, and unconventional, as singles. So many of us wanted songs like "Scheiße", "Government Hooker", "Swine", "Bloody Mary" or even "Teeth" to have a music video.

So far, Mayhem seems to be the project that is very much that: her darker, more unconventional material, receiving the spotlight. If you're expecting huge hits from Mayhem I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment. 

It's absolutely ok for you not to like the song, but it is also important for you to understand what kind of project this is, so that you can have realistic expectations about it. If you're hoping for a "Poker Face" or a "Bad Romance", it's unlikely to happen. 

This album is for "Babylon", "Donatella", "Sheiße" stans. And that's a good thing for many of us, even if it's not particularly your cup of tea
