Lucas 24,803
Total bop to me, should've been the lead single imo. It's dark, it's catchy, it has to crazy Gaga twist to it. 10/10 3

Putting that aside, it is a very well achieved 90's eurodance song with a darker and modern Gaga twist, it reminds me like Eiffel 65 type of songs, or that whole era generally, the bridge specially heavily reminds me a 90's eurodance song but i still don't know which one it is, i just feel like I've heard it before, same with the chorus, it is also very reminiscent to her earlier hits. Anyway I like it for what it is, but yeah i expected something different, I'm sure it will grow on me over time and more listens, and it will sure get the commercial appeal to the album, so as a single i think it is a good choice, i just wished they risked more tho, I'm also hoping the rest of the album gives me more of what i want. I'm sure the album will serve more of that industrial sound we're craving, this is just a sneak peek for the masses.
Sepsami 17,722
It's giving me Eurovision Winner and I am so relieved that I absolutely love this and Disease both. This album is going to be a smash for me, I hope the GP atleast find some appreciation for it aswell. I'm very excited to see how it will rank among Gaga's other albums for me.
StarryNight 10,103
And we all thought that it won't be radio friendly infectiously catchy chorus, godly contrasty bridge and hard hitting instrumental A SLAY

juicyjuicy 1,900
I think/hope it will grow on me. TBH I'm not convinced, but I know this will SMASH at queer clubs. It sounds very Eurovision or it belongs in a camp musical theatre production. The production feels a bit dated. I also feel like the vocals aren't as strong as Disease and the lyrics are hard to hear - the mixing feels a bit off. I wish it was a bit darker (and the MV had some darker/witch visuals), but I like the genre-shifting aspects of the song, whilst still sounding 'cohesive' as a song. It's giving a bit of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, 90s techno, and ABBA.
Chesescake 3,786
Besides the "Feel the beat under your feet, the floor's on fire" part I... like this song. The vocal's on point, and it's danceable. Could and should go darker though, but at least I won't frown and cringe every time I hear the lyrics like Disease does, so it's a win for me. I'm still waiting for the song that could shake off the feeling of "fan-service" this era has brought to me so far. I know it's there somewhere in between the tracklist. It echoes the fantastical energy of Leila K’s Open Sesame -Abracadabra is also destined to drive Europe wild. The production is impeccable, balancing nostalgia with a futuristic edge. Operatic undertones are masterfully woven in, befitting her status as the queen of eccentric dance. I love how she commands her vocals, striking with both force and finesse. This dynamic range fuels the momentum and leaves space for the performance to evolve. I am positively surprised and happy to see that she decided to go big. Kudos! Open Sesame is one of my favorite songs and you're so right! Apart from that it also pulls heavily from Spellbound by Siouxsie and the Banshees, the pre-chorus in particular. It's like a pop postpunk techno hybrid which I really love to my core. The choreography is blowing me away! It really builds on Gaga's strong points as a dancer and her elegance and weirdness. The clothing is so on point! Its so detailed and textured all of it. I was really annoyed by the cheap looking Chromatica off the rack stuff and diy cut off platform boots and things like that. If she prefers dancing on bare feet, **** the shoes, she looks great. The lyrics don't grab me at all yet, which is a bit of a bummer. After a few listens I still don't really get what she's saying to me. It doesn't hit me directly like most of her previous work has. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Kitana 1,814
okay so as i was already fearing before it released. the intro (snippet we got) is completely different to the majority of the song. was hoping the song would be as dark all throughout BUT its still a very very good song. i especially like the melody in the bridge, they shouldve made it the bridge play twice cause it is so good. the song is also very catchy and i really like it. much better than disease (which isnt a bad song) and shouldve released first You will learn respect!
