What is the theme of Zombie Boy ?

I love to make theories about LG7 

Well my theory is that the narrator has necromancy powers, and is able to talk to dead ppl. The narrator is lost, she is zombified (alienated) and asks some help to her friend Zombie Boy. Zombie Boy sadly passed away in 2018, but the reason why I think she referenced him is bc of the meaning of his tatoos. Zombie Boy's body was covered of 90% of tatoos that represents an important part of his life. He had tumor at the age of 15 years old, and he survived to his surgery but lost some part of his brain. He became a punk and his friends used to call him "zombie" bc at the age of 19 yo he decided to tatoo his body after having his first skull tatoo when he was 16 yo. That is the reason why he became a fashion icon. Bless his soul.  🕊

His story is about resilience, he is inspiring and that is the reason why would Gaga asks him help. Gaga was zombified during TFM, BTW and ARTPOP era by her work but she was too hard on herself. She worked a lot cause she really loves art, and she said that she could die for her fan back in time. It probably helped her a lot to focus on other things than her traumatic experiences before the fame. She said that she became an "empty shell" after the bad experiences she had, so she acted crazy as "Lady Gaga" but it was a persona. Stefani worked hard before becoming famous but she also worked hard to stay a relevant artist, a game-changer. So that's why spiritually she was "zombified". It's a whole inner fight between her workahoolism and her rational mind.

And why not giving a tribute to THE Zombie Boy himself ? He inspired a lot of us. Even if he passed away in 2018, it doesn't change the fact that he always was in touch with the Grim Reaper and never feared it. The meaning of his tatoos are immaculate, and transcends the human condition.

I think that this song is a esoterical tracks in which she uses the theme of the necromancy, the theme of working, art and of the theme of mental health.

To me, the lyrics that we hear in the MVs are :

Oh I can't see straight and my hands are tied

I could be alive, I'm just zombified

No I can't see straight with the fear inside

I could be alive, if you hold me tight

The reason why I say it's about workahoolism and it's a inner fight, it's bc the song is played right after the scene with twins. Visually the scene represent well the idea of her being in a obscure place, having her hands tied and looking like a zombie. It's a fight between her rational mind allegory that wants to free herself and the one that obey to Dr PlagueGa who watch them working. The snippet is played at the radio cause it's the production of the work, of the allienation and violence that she used against herself. It sounds like a TFM song with a touch of darkwave, so I wouldn't be surprised if RedOne produced this one.

I could see some very Frankenstein visually for a music video. Like lab, her being experimented, used as an object, and freeing herself from this situation

That could be hinted in Disease music video with the scars on her arms looking like her body members were sewed together

Yes fr, I defo can figure her wear a kind of bride of Frankenstein hairstyle bc she used to wear these kind of hairstyle a lot back in 2010s. I don't think there will be a MV cause it's not a single but there will be visuals for sure.

I feel like Gaga could milk this era much more than for Chromatica (mainly because she was about to prepare and film for HOG), she's free from this and she seems to like a lot more doing what she's doing right now. And she also has a lot of opportunities for her to debute new music videos (at Coachella, Rio and more). 

So yeah we'll most definitely get videos for both Abracadabra and Vanish Into You. But could also see her pushing more singles after album release, especially if some stuff click once the album is out

fantastic, a tribute to zombie boy didn't crossed my mind as i forgot that's how he was called. Considering he was so important for BTW, it really must have been on purpose. I hope so, that would really make it that more special.

I’m anticipating it to be about a past relationship she stuck around in for too long, similar to Fun Tonight/Plastic Doll but from a different perspective, ala Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo.
 

Probably a bit out there sonically but lyrically relating the ex to a zombie in the sense that they were there but not very present/half alive or they fed off her or her career in some manner for their own gain.

Yes it could but personally, my theory is that the song about this theme is "Garden of Eden". It could be abt the safe place (studio) that Michael built for her. The tentation fruit is to create pop music again.
