Gaga performs today at the FireAidLA Benefit Concert

all of yall not in California, or even the US - I understand the excitement of wanting to see her perform. I don’t understand the complaining of the time. This show is NOT for you. A literal CITY in the state of CALIFORNIA practically burnt down. That is who this is a fundraiser for. As a California resident who has had not one, not two, but three friends live in that area whose homes have burnt to ashes and they’re still struggling to find places to stay and clean clothes to wear, shame on you all. Have a little empathy. Sure this is a well-funded and celebrity dominated performance for people who paid a pretty penny for tickets - but at least keep the complaining about it down a little bit. People’s lives have been devastated. Seriously. Have some compassion and empathy

im still waiting on my disaster relief funds  rent is due in 2 days i'm $500 short that i had to use from rent money for cleanup and spoiled groceries. I will be getting an eviction notice next week. im scared

Goodness I am so so sorry. My friends are struggling day by day also. I cannot imagine how stressful it must be. I’m broke and all the way down in San Diego county, but always happy to help whatever way I can

There is. For now only performances in the Kia Forum. In half an hour the event in the Inuit dome starts, and then they switch to the venue where the performance is, while in the other venue the stage is prepared for the next artist

Right. It's so moving to see solidarity from all the artists to help the distressed during such awful events. This is hope. This is America I love. I'm happy Gaga is part of the people who help. Yup. Just one. I checked Hulu, D+, Amazon and YouTube, and they were all the same. They got from one venue to the other while they prepare the stage for the next artist/band.
