So... where do I start, some of you (even gaga) wondering why Judas, government hooker, trending out of no where, here is why..

The JJK edits alone contributes 40m++ streaming among anime fans - now imagine the streaming power if gaga incorporate (or at least acknowledge) this streaming power  - like how she did with Bayonetta things)

Now there is a trend of die with a smile with anime among AoT fans

and disease among arkana fans (though it is not a big fandom)

I know Wednesday edits contribute hugely with Bloody mary, but it shows, how gaga music can incorporate with any kind of fans (and the cis straight men :laughga:)

I dont know who did this but Sailormoon - Venus edit is my favorite one

Japan loves Lady Gaga and her aesthetics and art fit well with the Otakus :firega:

Except for the homophobic degen shounen fans, I think there a huge intersection between LM and anime fans

I heard she left out a bowl of treats at Starbucks for the Furries.  Now I know why.

I hope she does another Crunchyroll collab for Mayhem:

At the ArtRave, there were a bunch of otaku’s who were absolutely LIVING for Hatsune Miku! They had those glow lights and were doing synchronized dance moves with them. This look always reminded me of Miku.

Gaga should center her entire career around maximizing chart performance, I agree

Tbh if she’s not INTO anime, she shouldn’t, it is cringe and unnecessary when some who doesn’t really know the culture but get into it for a cash grab, if it’s not authentic- just don’t do it.

Exactly! Also it’s kinda shocking to me that Gaga isn’t really an anime girlie. She has like never spoken about it meaning she probably does not watch it. I think she needs to start doing so. It can inspire u soooo much. Anime is a well of creativity

Why would it be a cash grab if she could simply acknowledge a big reason for her organic success?

It’s not like she’s begging for streams doing a peace sign saying “konnichiwa i love anime, stream my album prease!!” The anime fans are already streaming, so it would be a nice gesture and PR move to openly show love for the anime fandoms.

I actually thought it was cute when Avril Lavigne tried to embrace Japanese culture with “Hello Kitty” in 2013, but it definitely came off cringey to anyone who didn’t have context. I could see that happening with Gaga too.

Both women have very large fan bases in Japan for western acts,
