Panchecco 17,440 Posted January 28 Share Posted January 28 I see the vision, I like the idea (although extremely boring and over-used), but the excecution is terrible to me. The teaser for the album truly captures what Mayhem is to me, and granted that was an animation so of course it can get more chaotic but I feel a close up shot of a face with a very stoic and almost absent look on a white background is just not it. I don't get fear at all from looking at the picture, I don't get struggle, I don't get chaotic. I truly feel Gaga's covers have always been timeless but this one just doesn't do it for me. I feel that a composit of several pictures from the photoshoot, chaotic writings and those orange textures would have made for a better cover and probably one I woul have really liked. It's frustrating because out of all of the things I could have expected to be disappointed by, i would have never guessed it was gonna the cover artwork... The worst thing about the overall photo is the washed out filter on top of it imo Spoiler I hope I don't receive hate as I fully believe that is totally fair and healthy to not like every single thing your fave does or says.... I don't like at all fans who constantly complain, and trust me I am not one of them, but it's also not fair to get mad at people because they don't automaticcaly like something gaga has created.
