It’s not her most interesting or most dynamic cover, but it’s perfectly serviceable. Like, let’s be honest. It was almost impossible to top Chromatica. That is easily her best cover and no matter what, y’all would’ve complained that Mayhem didn’t live up to expectations. Also, for the people saying this is her “worst” cover…Really?? Joanne’s right there I’d put this on the same level as TF, TF, and BTW. As for the title/font, I love it! She’s talked a lot about how chaos was a huge theme for the album, so Mayhem makes perfect sense. I love, love, love the font too! The red orange color pops against the black/white and the font is kind of spooky and eerie. And for as simple as it is, I love the “Lady Gaga” font with the upside down A too. I am disappointed that she delayed it from February, but it seems to be only a week delay (I anticipated a February 28 release). And on the bright side, my birthday is March 3, so I’m going to consider this a late birthday present!
