It is weird, in the week APT became number 1 DWAS was still higher on both the airplay and streaming charts. But considering the hate of the top 40 DJ to Gaga I wouldnt be surprised if they just didnt want to give her the record. The weeks after APT was higher on both charts, and sadly sales dont count for the Top 40

I haven't seen them do mid-week in months, just early and final

I think it's because APT gained a lot of views on YouTube, which helped compensate for the slight lead in streams DWAS had. The Top 40 counts youtube views if i'm not mistaken.

She really doesn't need to do anything more than what her team's already doing TBH...it's clear that when people discover it, they want to re-listen. They're adding it to their playlists, taking it to the gym, listening in the car and when they're getting ready to go out on the town. Good songs just do that - they grow on their own because people want to hear it more and more.
