Gaining over a month after album release

And even with DWAS falling

Girl!! GIRL WHAT, girl is on fire

I wouldn't have bet this few months ago after Joker tbh :huntyga:

But yeah Abracadabra (song + video), album release, tour announcement and Coachella had a brilliant effect on her catalogue. Even more than normal with Coachella for any artist tbh It's just like it's her 2nd SB boost again

I really do hope that they make Vanish into you a single (preferably in June)  and then HBDUWM a single in september. They would be leaving so much on the table by not pushing both of these songs.

I pray for music videos

If VIY was a single, I think that using footage of gaga interacting with fans at coachella, in mexico, and in brazil for a music video would actually be not so bad (even though an actual music video would be better).

it would be a great gift to get 2 more professionally shot music videos for this era. GOE and SOAM are right there

This is her album with the most potential for singles since BTW

I feel the opposite way omg :ladyhaha: mayyyyybe they can do something with Ish Into You if there’s heavy promo/a quite revolutionary music video à la TFMGa but for me the obvious singles were DWAS, Disease and Abracadabra

I love GOE, but it’s very Ava Max and she hasn’t scored a hit since like 2020.

I love Perf Celeb but we can all agree it has no potential as a single. Same for Killah. Both could have amazing videos though.

Zombieboy is great but it’s not showing any strong sign of sticking on the wall.

LoveDrug and Don’t Call are great too but I don’t see the commercial potential. Same for Shadow and The Beast.

Grass is dead on arrival, not even the fans stream it.

Now there’s Ish and How Bad that show early signs of eventual success. But I feel that How Bad’s “early success” is mostly due to the fact that it sounds like Tay. Ish, on the other hand has a beautiful chorus à la Shallow.

PS: I love calling Vanish Into You “Ish”, I’m so unserious lmao

Let’s not go that far :ladyhaha: Joanne went #2 and The Fame #6 on the Hot 200 after the Super Bowl (and obviously Million Reasons #4 on the Hot 100)

Well don't forget SB happened almost 10 years ago and Itunes helped us HARD to get the Top 3 for MR. I'm not sure MR would have done that big in streaming era post SB

Coachella had a most global impact for her, and we should be happy about this, because her prime has passed in the US anyway. It has been more miss that hit there for the last decade.
