if debra consistently decreases on radio over the next 3 weeks, I think they should move on to the next single (HBDUWM or VIY). But it is WAY TO SOON to come to that conclusion. Radio goes up and down this is not shocking.

Very true, we already had moments like this and radio starts picking up again. Though, with all these up and downs is hard to get any real gains on airplay.

ps: the next single should def be ViY :ororomunroe:

Abracadabra #36(+5) in the UK, despite ACR

They have rules to bring down songs after some weeks afaik, so this is actually great.

I think after 3(?) weeks of increases again they revert the rule for a few weeks. Hopefully it can pull it off!

"LGBC1"... Some of you are insufferable lmao. The Bodyguard is one of the most successful albums in history but still a soundtrack in Whitney's catalogue. Is ASIB a backbone in Gaga's career? Sure, but the narrative saying we should be counting it towards her studio albums just because it did like 11-12M copies WW is wild

Lol, yes it should. The album is almost all new songs where Gaga is the main artist and writer. Comparing it to The Bodyguard soundtrack where more than half of that album, Whitney is not singing, other artists are singing.

And more than that, out of the 6 songs that Whitney sings only 3 of them are her new songs. The 3 are revivals or covers: I'm Every Woman is by Chaka Khan, I Will Always Love You by Dolly Parton and Jesus Loves Me by another artist. Its a soundtrack and a studio album. Its not some side quest, cover album like Cheek to Cheek, Love For Sale or Harlequin.

So it did -0.6 on pop radio, but only lost 11 spins?

My guess is Z100 slowed down the rotation. That explains how such a few spins translated to such a large number of audience impressions.

Edit: Actually I looked and Z100 still seems to be playing it regularly. Maybe Kiis slowed down, that makes sense too.

I don't think she would like Harlequin called a sidequest :stalkga:

Abra's worldwide run is impressive!

Peaks:

1# in 9 countries

Top 5 in 16 countries

Top 10 in 15 countries

Top 20 in 22 countries

And it's still charting on many of these countries, it's the bad romance of the 2020's. :queenga:
