That's a US based chart anyway, not solely about Spotify streams We weren't talking about main projects, but projects overall. We have resources to count each as a separate project when it comes to streams: The person who made this tweet has a different understanding than you: https://x.com/RDTLadyGaga/status/1915391134899044484 This discussion is because of this tweet Edited April 24 by lastpopicon The melody that you choose can rescue you

I mean, it makes sense if you think about how to are just choosing the "LG" projects, RTG gaga has been around for a long time, they the biggest Portuguese gaga fan page. It’s just a matter of interpretation! As @lastpopicon well pointed, I’m pretty sure the tweet was referring to LG1, LG2, LG3, LG6 and LG7. RDT Gaga is a very reliable source. Anyway, stream MAYHEM and Harlequin!

lastpopicon 29,701
And tbh, ASIB is not a project to mention when talking about her main career projects. It's a sound track to a movie, ofc, a very commercially successful album and it pulls insane streams and I understand why people want to bring it up but it's not apart of her main studio albums (LG1/7). funny I don't see Love for sale and cheek to cheek mentioned The streams aren't impressive The melody that you choose can rescue you

She still wrote & sang the songs featuring some of the best ballads of her career. Also sold an insane amount of copies WW. I wish we could swap Joanne with ASIB lmao. She should've fully committed to the ASIB sound when crafting Joanne, but instead the album just felt like disingenuous cosplay. Sorry to the Joanne stans but honestly I think Gaga would agree looking back...

I like the song but I think its appeal is strongly rooted for the gays. I think HBDUWM is something that would be more appealing to a wider audience especially women, which Gaga is hit or miss with. I’d be curious of the demographics that are listening to GoE; as I suspect they are the same ones that are/were already listening to Abracadabra and she has that demographic locked in. She could hone in on it and further cement her distinct sound inline with TF-BTW sound and subject matter. Although I think Abracadabra already did that to an extent. Alternatively, she could go with HBDUWM which I think coupled with DWAS could bring her career heights coupled with TF era and could allow for easier success for future singles whether it is off of Mayhem, a deluxe/companion ep, or other project. Regardless, I think streaming has been impressive this era and with her touring so soon after album release it significantly increases the chances of longevity and future single success. Taylor and Beyoncé’s tours really solidified their status and I think Mayhem is shaping up to place her on the same pedestal as those two. Great points, especially about building some rapport with basic white girls. Would be great to have a segment of Taylor fans stream Gaga's music to expand her appeal. I disagree about GOE being just for the gays though-- it should've gotten the resources that Abracadabra did as it's way less noisy, is a standard synth-pop song more agreeable for radio, and not a dance/club beat in the way Debra was (which just isn't super popular right now). I definitely think it's a hit waiting to happen and that GOE would have had a better chance in the U.S. vs. Debra considering the promo slots. I'm just glad she has so many options this era... and if she wants to do 2 more singles you can't go wrong with GOE, How Bad, or VIY.
