It's funny because even with the fall It's stiml doing her best numbers for her solo standards since like ages

Doing better than her solo singles from the past 14 years is not the slay you think it is. The standard is in the gutter.

You're acting like her solo songs over the past years have been getting like 79M streams total (katy reference). Stupid love, an overwhelming flop, will be passing the 400M stream mark. Million reasons will be passing 900M. If abra does any better than the apparent flop million reasons, we have a billions club solo song on our hands. Poor us

DWAS first 2 months were rough until it stabilized and look at it now :abra:

The fearmongers still stuck in the pre streaming era :Cautious:

Rough?? The song debuted at No. 3 and the lowest it went in its first 2 months was No. 6

Meanwhile Abra is looking for a 29-12-30 run in its first month.

And? Sabrina and Drake bombs this week... Abra needs some airplay before proper promo

saying the song could be doing better is one thing but at least it brought back some anticipation bc 3 weeks ago the mayhem era was crickets and now it’s been exposed to potential listeners. she’s done her job. abracadabra wasn’t going to continue the first week’s momentum unless it was heavily pushed/promo’d and obvs that’s not something gargar wants to do….

The gutter is Katy Perry.

According to Talk of the Charts Sabrina’s song is challenging for a top 40, so she’s not a threat.

Drake also only has one song potentially challenging top 10. Lets hope the rest of his songs don’t do huge numbers and maybe Abra wont be bumped down as much as we think.

Wish we could have something that would bounce back the streams.
Maybe a TV performance would help :gum:

Radio won’t grow that quickly to ensure we keep good chart positions. For the next week early predictions say around #30

Abracadabra’s performance on YouTube is most telling to me. In my personal opinion, a song destined to have no future would not be performing there like this. It’s about to pull 2+ million views again on YT’s slowest day. English-language YT is dead. Look at the views for Ariana’s The Boy Is Mine & Yes, And?, Disease, Charli’s videos, Olivia’s Get Him Back!, etc. etc.

40 million views in 2 weeks was truly unpredictable and is kind of crazy

Lady Gaga's most liked YT vids

#17 Stupid Love 1,892,778
#18 (+1) Abracadabra 1,856,137
#19 Born This Way 1,851,687

How much more does it have to gain to enter Top 10? I feel like it totally can… the likes are crazy so far for Youtube in 2025.

I agree, I think the performance on youtube is telling that even if it’s not gonna be a smash hit, it won’t bomb la Disease either. I think some say they used some ads these past few days but even without the song was still doing 2 mil daily. I also have hope the radio will embrace it, so the start might be rocky but it might in time be a stable top 10-15 hit. It’s also still getting tiktoks and reaction videos, Abra might also just be the stepping stone for the future single because what this single did best was reabilitate Gaga’s image as GAGA and showed how hungry and hyped people are for her.

I saw some fans say Abra was initially not marketed as a single, could it be that it was intended to be just a promo single to rebuild hype for the era and have Vanish Into You come out with the album or a week before as the official second/third single? Might be the reason why so far we have 0 promo, was a Sunday release and was only sent to radio a week later after they saw it perform well. If so, then it would be the 4th time a promo single becomes the official second ( now kinda third ) single, first with TEOG, then DWUW and finally MR. Kinda cool if so!

Currently at #10 sits INLA music video with 2,990,395 likes, it rose 5k in the last 12 days, so Abracadabra would need at least 3M likes to get there
