It is bizarre, up until the Superbowl the song kept growing, even on youtube, Saturday reached 3.5 mil views which was it’s third best day, I genuinely think the Superbowl cut the song’s momentum because it was literally viral until suddently it started decreasing. I still believe it will stabilize around 5 mil daily streams which if you guys remember is the number it did for the first few days before being added to all those major playlists. It is the same hit it was always meant to be, it’s just that the sudden jump to 8.4 mil streams after playlisting made us think it will be much bigger than it was ever intended to be. Promo + album release will help and the song will have it’s peak that week. It’s a dark dance pop song, not at all what people want today so let’s enjoy whatever we get!

Still on track let's not forget we have some big promo coming from Lady Gaga today and this weekend

It needs ~7.5M unfiltered per day... :air:

It's decreasing too much in the US for me to be comfortable. Yes, that's largely due to Kendrick clogging the Spotify charts, but Abra had biggest percentage drop (-8%) of the entire global Top 10 on Spotify today.

On the bright side the album is coming in March, not February.

Good call. :huntyga:

We reached 34M on Youtube :vegas: With 1.7M likes :golfclap:

And the views are stable, around 2M daily views, pretty good for YouTube on the west.

I'd also like to remind everyone that Disease and Abra are bound to be annual Halloween bops - longevity of the best kind awaits us :firega:

It’s WoW (2nd Wednesday > 2nd Wednesday) drop on US Spotify is literally the exact same % as “We Can’t Be Friends” by Ariana Grande: -23%

When that song came out, everyone said it was an organic smash, its #’s were so impressive, etc. Yet, here we are with a Gaga song performing EXACTLY as well and it’s causing “discomfort.”

Crazy how BEFORE the song dropped, everyone whined about the timing since it was known Kendrick would block the chart. Yet, now that it might get a #12 peak DESPITE his SB boost (higher than we would’ve thought possible before release), everyone’s preparing the coffin.

I’ll happily take an 5.9M update over whatever Disease was doing by the same time ( it was probably around 1M)

Very good actually, I just took a look at Espresso which was released 10 months ago and it only has 322 mil views. With how massive the song was you’d think it’d have more when DWAS released 6 months ago has 682 mil and BOAF released 4 months ago has 237 mil. That means Espresso did only around 1 mil a day on average. If we also stay around 1 mil for at least half a year then we should have some nice numbers by end of the year! Praying for 250!

I wish more people realized THIS. And the fact that Abra already has more views. For some reason I feel like there is more negativity over Abra’s success than there was over Disease’s lack of success.
