I became a fan around the BTWB and my first real era as a stan was ARTPOP and to my understanding the majority (?) of the fandom prefers the deluxe BTW cover over the standard so my question to older fans were we this complain-y about covers even then cuz this behavior is kinda so 2011-ish

None of the covers speak to me personally but the overall aesthetics speaks to me to a level that no album of hers did since perhaps BTW so I'm fine with it.

The common thread throughout iis so intriguing and even on the standard her not putting a title or her name on it is such a serve for me so as an artistic choice I like to think that the apathetic standard cover felt all encompassing of the mayhem within so I respect her ARTistic choices

The only time I was meh in an album cover was when the only choice was Chromatica in the clear sleeve with like no artwork. Thankfully the gatefold released later which I quickly snagged.
