Something I absolutely love is that everyone is claiming all tracks as their favorites. I thought HBDYWM would get totally **** on and would get the Plastic Doll and Fun Tonight treatment, but even that song has its followers. 
 

I think that’s very telling of an album. All songs are somebodies favorite

the songwriting on Mayhem is the best of her career and I never thought she’d outdo Born This Way in that way because from Joanne/Chromatica I kind of accepted the idea that maybe songwriting just wasn’t where Gaga would shine. Totally blown away. 
 

and above all, I am so happy to see Gaga where she is now personally. I’ve always wanted the best for her & it’s so nice to see her actually seeming to have fun being a pop star and also being happy in her personal life. 

I think I can confidently say Vanish Into You is my favorite track off the album. And easily top 5 Gaga songs of all time now.

It’s been fun watching some of them crawl back as if they didn’t have very public, nuclear meltdowns claiming they were done with her either before or around Disease. Won’t name names but lolol

The photoshoot doesn’t necessarily always fit the sound of the album, but the mirror/distorted imagery really goes along with its themes. Arguably every song on the album is about Gaga’s identity and perceptions of herself to others. Then, at the end, The Beast and Blade of Grass are more related to her lover’s identity and self-image.
