That Vanish Into You / Killah Transition is sending me... i mean, by the end of vanish into you I’m exhausted from all the dance crying, followed by a funky „Killah“, uff. :cryga:

red wine, konvict, gaga (oh-oh-eh)

I hear you, but keeping in mind he recently produced Charli XCX's "I Might Say Something Stupid", I'm not surprised that his collab on Mayhem is somewhat out of character.

This! Also what does out of character even mean right? Artists are not monolithic. Just Gaga alone went from BTW to Joanne so, people can have range :firega:

You are small men. You are not worthy to rule the Dothraki.

Totally hearing the Taylor vibe on HBDUWM, and I'm really digging it :ally:

Also, Vanish Into You gave me The Killers teas, don't know if anyone else felt it. Shadow of a Man is totally MJ. Zombieboy intro recalls Hollaback Girl.

Damn, I really didn't expect any of this on this record :laughga:

I just listened to the album and I literally LOVE IT??? What the hell???

Like of course there are tracks I love more than others but there’s not one single skip? Not one single ‘bad’ song??? Not even meh, which might be a first for me with a Gaga album. Like yes some songs are just fine ( at least for now, they might grow ) but over I am very pleased!

My favorites however are the first 5 tracks & Shadow Of A Man. Like WOW all of them are 11/10. Garden of Eden is literally PURE INSANITY, I SO desperately need this as the third single, like this would be the best 3 singles run since TFM - Disease, Abracadabra & Garden Of Eden are some of the best songs she has EVER made we NEED to manifest this trio at least this era. I cannot stop listening to GoE, it’s so The Fame but if she made that album in 2025. For some reason my mind goes to, and HEAR ME OUT, Sports Car by Tate?? NOT for sounding alike but I feel like these 2 next to each other in a playlist would be the ultimate collapse!!! I need this flavor of Gaga again, like I need her to serve more of this in the future. Lowkey wish there was one more song like that on the project. But that’s a thought for a review I might post later this week on here. I’ll talk more about my other favorites there & the small criticism I have, I just HAD to single out GoE because it really did shook me.

Overall I am a satisfied fan! IMO this album ends Chromatica, Joanne and ARTPOP pretty easily, idk… I can’t say yet if I like it more than Born This Way & The Fame but I can say it doesn’t end The Fame Monster. Which is FINE, it doesn’t need to. It’s enough to be a potential Top 3 which it just might be!

Anyways, STREAM GARDEN OF EDEN AND SHOW GAGA WE WANT IT AS SINGLE NR. 3 THANK YOU VERY MUCH TTYL.

I’m pausing my listening for tonight at Zombieboy. Enjoying what I’m hearing so far but where are these ‘dark’ / ‘heavy’ tracks? I guess I expected a more rock / metal or even industrial influence.

I need to listen to Can’t Stop The High SO BAD but Japanese little monsters are THE sweetest they would never leak anything… they really do deserve Gaga the most. Which is probably why they get a new song! LOL

I hope “turning the tables” will react to this. I feel like the hot dad would love this. But they never done Gaga before.

I have a daddy thing and am in LOVE with that hot dad. If they did Gaga? I'd die (just a little inside).

If I had to list the top 5 moments on the album just off the top of my mind:

- The outro in Perfect Celebrity

- The entirety of Shadow of a Man but especially that last minute OMFG  SHADOW DON'T SHATTER THE WORLD

- The bridge in Don't Call Tonight

- The transition from pre-chorus to chorus in Garden of Eden. What a mother****ing bop!

- The bridge and final chorus in Abracadabra

Overall an incredible album, the melodies are so great, the production, the vocals, the ****ing outros! Damn it just feels so good to still get so excited and emotional about her music after 15 years... This is going to be my soundtrack for the rest of the year! Thrilled to discover what she's got in store for this era and obviously looking forward to a tour announcement

Right??? It’s not bad at all, it’s literally pop perfection, people only dislike it because indeed it does sound like a Taylor song from the 1989 era BUT they fail to see that it’s a TOP TIER 1989 Taylor outtake. And also, Gaga influenced pop music and Taylor’s pop is also touched by Gaga’s musical contributions so…

just finished my first listen and:

- I think it's a good album but it didn't leave me shocked in multiple songs as I was in Chromatica, mostly due to its cohesiveness (I especially enjoy EDM a lot and can remember so clearly of the goosebumps I had with Enigma vocals and the Sine From Above production)

- definitely didn't expected so many 'good vibe' songs (even though she warned us of the sound taking a different turn after the few first songs)

- Perfect Celebrity and Shadow of a Man are def the biggest highlights definitely, they're so different from any of her previous songs (production and vocal wise), they were actually the only ones that left me in total awe

- Don't Call Tonight and Blade of Grass are lowlights for me at this point (but this will definitely change a lot as I listen more haha)

- I couldn't believe a song called The Beast doesn't have some hard beats :fatcat:

- for me it seems to be her first work to make clear Bowie references in multiple songs and also the amazing reference to MJ in Shadow

- also some songs remind me of The Fame songs (not the singles, though, but like a Summeboy vibe present in many of her unreleased songs as well)

- in general, production and vocals are very, very great, I will give it a few more listens and it will def grow on me
