LG7 3rd Single With Album Release Or Before?

With DWAS & Disease out, we are anticipating album release and hopefully new single that will be the promotional single for the album.

But which timing will be great for it according to you?

First things first (I'm the realest), DWAS is not a LG7 single even if it makes the album

I think we will get a second ("third") single just before the album then one more after

Ideally if they have a track they feel strongly has hit potentail id say before the album so it can get some exclusive attention and extra push

 

However if they arent sure or there isnt a very clear better choice, then maybe its best to release album and see what people react best to

 

Edit: Better still, release a "promo single" to test it out so that if it flops you dont have to say it was a single but if it does well you can turn it into a single like they did with "Edge Of Glory"

I think it we will get a promo-single (cause DWAS is still massive) before the album and the third single shortly after. I could see a fourth single coming in Q3/Q4 together with Wednesday season 2 premiere

OT: I think a new single on release day makes more sense if it's really a few weeks away from now

I agree, I'm low-key expecting a new song to be out on Monday, or more realistically Friday of next week.

I think a new song out next week to go along with album announcement is a smart thing to do. Or if she announces it and says new song/single coming out that Friday (31st) and Grammys are Feb 2nd. Not that she's going to perform it but it's a nice way to get articles going.

Taking an example from a recent album by Manson:

Lead single in August, 2nd song and video out 2 weeks later (promo). There was a third song and video with album announcement and pre-order at the end of September. Then a 4th song and video during album release date. (end of November)

I agree that we must accept that DWAS is a single but it doesn't feel like it because it didn't introduce the GP to the album but Gaga as a feature on a Bruno song 

Disease will always be the lead for me 

I wish we'll have a second single early feb after Gaga performs for LA fire charity

It would be the smartest move for the single to drop on the 31st and it being performed at the Grammys.

Question: if hey start album pre-orders also on the 31st, this would help the single in its first charting week (due to itunes), correct?
