One unpopular opinion per album era

As we wet ourselves as the countdown to CVNTQUAKE LG7 begins, in the spirit of focussing on each of LG's albums/eras per day, what is one unpopular opinion you have per album/era? I'll start.

LG1 (The Fame): Whilst still a good song, Poker Face is the weakest song she's released as a single during this album cycle. (Also, a bonus one, and not sure if this is actually unpopular, but I have to say this is one of the best pop albums in the history of MUSIC.) 

LG2 (The Fame Monster): The standard album cover (with the black wig and tears) is a massive downgrade compared to the one with the blonde wig. 

LG3 (Born This Way): The fake horns on her face made her look really old. (lol idk this is all i've got) 

LG4 (ARTPOP): Gypsy is a mess of a song and sounds 'unfinished'. The lyrics, melody and production to me just aren't doing it like the rest of the songs on the album. 

LG5 (Joanne): Sinner's Prayer is one of the best Gaga songs ever released. It's severely underrated by her fan base. 

LG6 (Chromatica): Alice should have been the lead single. Stupid Love is one of the worst Gaga songs ever released (sorry).

LG1 -> yall gonna hate me for it but for me a lot of songs from The Fame just sound the same, like it is always the same bits and sounds

LG2 -> I really hate that it is made a seperate era like how it is, wish she expanded on it a bit once she saw how well and popular it got (like I know this is 'Deluxe' of LG1 but I wish there was 'Deluxe' of The Fame Monster, with for example Glitter & Grease)

LG3 -> I hate inconsistency with the extra songs (like Highway Unicorn) that are on some versions and are not on the others (like the recent anniversary one [what's funny is that they are included on vinyl lol])

LG4 -> I know it's been a hard time for GAGA then but wish she released Brooklyn Nights as it was planned via app, and also the whole teasing of act 2 and yet we got not a single song off it? Hope at least some of these will be released as 15th Anniversary or something like that

LG5 -> I feel like this is the most random album, sorry not sorry, like I love songs on it but album as one composition it's just .... a mess lol

LG6 -> not really that unpopular I think but it's her best album IMO, it made me dig deeper into LG (I knew the albums I just usually listened to my liked songs rather than albums before), I hate how people say how mainstream it is as I think there is a lot of misunderstanding within what the album talks about. Also wish there were more music videos (at least 1 would be great, like Babylon, Sour Candy or Replay)

LG6.5 -> i love her for releasing HQ, I know a lot of monsters hate jazzga but she really nailed this one and I hope people stop negatively judging it and actually discover its beauty

The Fame: The album aesthetic aged like milk.

The Fame Monster: Teeth is actually a ****ing good song.

Born This Way: Bad Kids and The Queen are among her most forgettable songs.

ARTPOP: Gypsy is so overrated among fans. It's overproduced and noisy.

Joanne: Perfect Illusion is one of her best songs and GP slept on it.

Chromatica: Stupid Love is very catchy and not a bad song, though is not single material. Alice or Replay were the best choices for the lead single.

LG7: Mayhem is just a single, the cover photo from the coding is single cover or promo photo

LG1 - Money Honey gets way more hate than it deserves. People just can't have fun.

LG2 - No notes. This album is perfect. 

LG3 - Fashion of His Love is cute af and I love any Gaga song which trades heavily in classic 80s nostalgia

LG4 - MANiCURE is amazing and I'd love for it to get brought back as a deepcut on tour.

LG5 - Overhated by its haters, over rated by its lovers. It's a good album, but there's nothing groundbreaking or inovative and there's nothing bad about it. 

LG6 - Babylon is overhyped. It's a good fun song, but some people seem convinced if it was a single it would have been the new Bad Romance and I just don't get it. The remix from the Haus Labs trailer was good, but the album version like a lot of Chromatica feels flat production wise.

TF: very good album. Starstruck is too underrated.

TFM: So Happy I Could Die is the best song on the album.

BTW: her second best album. Heavy Metal Lover still my favorite song.

ARTPOP: mehh.. its ok, but is my least favorite album from her.

Joanne: Gurl, Hey Girl deserve to be a single. Such a good song.

Chromatica: her best album. Rain On Me & Free Woman her best songs. Forever.

LG1, The Fame: I Like It Rough is the best song on the album and also the album gets way too much hate on this site it's a great debut album.

LG2, The Fame Monster: Teeth is a great song and one of the best on the album, it is way too overhated.

LG3, Born This Way: Fashion Of His Love is severely underrated/is one of the best songs on the album and Heavy Metal Lover is very overrated.

LG4, ARTPOP: ARTPOP(the song) is one of her best songs she has ever put out and it is a very underrated album on here.

LG5, Joanne: This album has some of her worst lyricism and the production is much more basic compared to her previous albums. I never really revisit this album since it is so basic and doesn't have that Gaga flair. 

LG6, Chromatica: Babylon demo is better then the album version and Alice should of been a single. 

[A Very Gaga Holida 21,442]

— Eh, Eh is easily one of Gaga’s best songs. It’s genius.

— Monster (even though it’s great) is overrated and would’ve flopped hard as a single.

— Born This Way (standard) doesn’t feel like a complete album. The special edition should’ve been the main one.

— Venus would’ve been a terrible single too. None of the songs would’ve been major but I think Gypsy was the safest choice. (DWUW was perfect sonically but since the collaborator did what he did…)

— Diamond Heart is the worst song on Joanne, by far.

— The album cover is cute and symbolic but it’s her worst, as it’s wayyyy too detailed.

— Die With A Smile and Disease DO sound like they’re from the same album.

The Fame — Second Time Around should’ve been on this, I don’t really like Just Dance guys 😭 but it’s good for dancing

The Fame Monster — No Way should’ve been on this. It should’ve replaced SHICD. We needed more black wig and mascara tears pics. Also speechless is great song but does NOT belong in the album

Born This Way — You and I doesn’t belong on the album. I hate Highway Unicorn sorry

ARTPOP — Princess Die and I Wanna Be with U should’ve been there. Obv Jewels N Drugs is a horrible song but I can vibe with it.

Joanne — Hey Girl is a great song for lesbians. Come to Mama is my favorite song besides Angel Down on this album. A-Yo is horrible.

Chromatica — Was expecting so much more from Stupid Love. I needed a film to accompany this album. As a producer I think Replay is hyped up way too much, it’s not that good.

The Fame - her weakest album

The Fame Monster - Teeth is a great song

Born This Way - Bad Kids is a great song

ARTPOP - the weird artistic Warholian **** was an excuse to justify the lack of direction

Joanne - her best album (if LG7 will have many songs as good as Disease, this will not be the case anymore)

Chromatica - the aesthetic of the tour was better than the one of the album (besides the desert promo pictures)

The Fame : hate how different versions of the album has a few different tracks on it like disco heaven and retro dance freak

The Fame Monster : could have been longer with more tracks that didn't make the cut for The Fame

Born This Way : half filler half bops sorry to say

ARTPOP : Dope sounds so out of place on the album and I feel that Gypsy could be included too, she needs to release like a b side from each era at some point and have her "from the vault" moment cause there's so much material from each era that deserves a chance 

Joanne :  the most forgettable album tbh, besides John Wayne, Perfect Illusion, Dancin In Circles the rest is kinda middle of the road/not good. The album is too short

Chromatica : Flawless album, poor execution of era roll out. ofc there was a pandemic but other artists still managed to have full era and (successful ones at that)  that had albums around the same time period. The songs on the album are amazing and literally no skips but like there was no era to back it up basically 

LG7 : Disease should have been around when Die With A Smile was released to make it stick in peoples minds since like when it was actually released Christmas was right around the corner

you are my new fav person  I agree with pretty much everything but especially the points about The Fame, ARTPOP and Chromatica. I do somewhat agree with Joanne, i rarely re-visit it  And I think that's the main reason, it's still a great album, just not very gaga.

The Fame-Most of the songs on the same that weren’t singles really aren’t that good

The fame Monster-I think it’s kind of weird that we generally count this as a full album, it’s really just an extension/ep of the fame

Born this way-I really don’t get the hate for Yoü and I, I think it’s a really beautiful song 

ARTPOP-Gypsy is Gaga’s best ballad of all time

Joanne-Too many people write off this album. Yes, it’s different and not the most similar to her other work, but I feel like too many people just completely overlook it. There are some really good tracks on there.

Chromatica-Honestly overhated. My biggest issue with the album is how short some of the songs are.

Starstruck is one of the best songs on TF, it has a vibe of a girlsband song everyone would shake their ass to

I don't think I have unpopular opinions about TFM

TEOG is fun, but I never considered it amazing, and since it's fav of many I guess my take is unpopular

I never cared about DWUW, and if I listen to it, it's only live Carr version. And I like R Kelly's version the least from each one we've heard

I don't feel like Joanne is a genuine album

And I don't feel like that about Chromatica too. It feels like a product to me, trying to bring back the GAGA factor, but in a bit cheap way, it also has some of her worst songs
