Carrie Underwood reportedly wasn't happy with the turn of events at Donald Trump's inauguration as the 47th President, where she belted out America the Beautiful to the crowd of the country's richest and most powerful people. 

The songstress, who faced technical glitches that led to an unplugged rendition, was allegedly upset with the malfunction and the pressure to perform after initially sparking backlash online after it was announced she would be singing at the inauguration

But once the dust settled, Underwood reportedly threw a fit about how it all went down. A source told The Daily Mail that she was "furious" for not getting any sort of stage or platform for her act.

The 41-year-old reportedly felt snubbed because previous inauguration acts for Joe Biden and Barack Obama, like Beyonce and Lady Gaga, who got the full works.

"Her anxiety was high throughout the performance, and she felt that she was not afforded the same level of respect or admiration that previous performers, such as Beyonce and Lady Gaga, had received," they continued. "She felt as if she was ushered in and out and had a mini hissy fit afterward."

This decision reportedly also took her bosses at American Idol and her co-stars by surprise, who were allegedly unhappy as it would drag them into a political conversation they didn't want to be part of.

"Ryan [Seacrest], Luke [Bryan], and Lionel [Richie] won't be happy either because they will inevitably also get asked about it in some interview at some point and that's not a topic they want to be sucked into," a source said following her announcement.
