Jill 27,095
One of my favorite directors ever. He truly changed what was possible to do in cinema and TV. He'll be sorely missed This was an official message from the Office of the First Lady. 3

mightyriverz 1,736
Mulholland Drive was the first movie I watched that completely blew my mind and made me question myself about it so hard I spent days thinking abou what it all meant, cause we're all conditioned to consume media that gives us a full plot with no holes and all things being answered. David Lynch, on the other hand, made me question, and understand that the beauty of art is in its subjectivity. He enhanced the experience of the viewers by making each one explore and externalize their own perspectives on the meaning of his work. And that is what exquisite art is about. 1
Mars 1,942
Personally Blue Velvet is one of my favourites. Such a huge loss to cinema and visual art in general. 2025 is off to a very bad start.

Always sad to see someone like that die
