Teletubby 137,652
“Makes me f–king sick to see most people just [carrying] on posting on lame ass social media!” the Mötley Crüe drummer wrote on Instagram Monday. “Guys right now nobody gives a flying f–k when your record drops or the next concert is when so many people are in the middle of one of the biggest disasters of all time!” “I get that some comic relief is always need [sic] but Jesus Christ leave it all alone and maybe just stop and see who needs help if you can.” It’s unclear exactly who prompted Lee’s rant, but Bad Bunny has continued promoting his new album, “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, plus, Spencer Pratt encouraged fans to stream his wife Heidi Montag’s music to generate income after losing their Pacific Palisades, Calif., home in the Palisades Fire last week.

Gorehound 3,881
Ok no.1 "one of the biggest disasters of all time"? It's definitely a devastating event but that comment is very LA bubble. no.2 not all musicians are as wealthy and successful as you and probably need to keep their income flowing despite whatever disaster is happening. I'm sure they are just as concerned about the issue as you are and would like to help in whichever way they can, but the world keeps turning regardless and there's no disrespect in that imo. The entire world doesn't just shut down each time a natural disaster happens. Edited 8 hours ago by Gorehound I'm fine, Ta 8
LG2008 3,275
These people live in a bubble... Of course it's bad but the only people that really care are the ones that live in that area. Even people from other hoods in LA get on with their lives as if nothing happened
ARTPOPKISS 3,476
Yet little to none of these artists stopped promoting or realising music whilst Palestine is being destroyed and its people are in the midst of a genocide The double standard is crazy F@ggotry at its finest 11 1
SEANGT 4,964
Ok I think this is why people hate people from LA and why republicans are trying to put conditions on emergency aid. Not everyone lives in LA. IDK why we're acting like that's the case.
Kayi 1,352
He basically thinks that L.A is the whole world No seriously, I said multiple times that it terrifies me what's going on in L.A and that I understand that some artists who live in USA prefer to not drop new things rn... buuut the "one of the biggest disasters of all time !" feel too hyperbolic. The thing that is happenning in L.A is surprising cause some places that are very iconic disapeared. But hey there's a lot of current disasters that are going to change the world on so many aspects politically, demographically, culturally, etc... And none of them are the L.A flames. I'm here to take a break from university homeworks :/

Plastic Flower 3,954
Who’s promoted their music in the past two weeks? Bad Bunny wouldn’t be concerned. His focus is on Latin America and trust we have our very own concerns so LA is not something people here care about. I can’t blame any American artist affected by the fires for promoting their music. These people still need the income. This isn’t a black and white issue. Drop it

Like you say the notable people who have dropped things have been either from Latin Am acts or elsewhere in the world like FKA twigs. I know Heidi has, but Heidi at least has the argument of having lost their home..
APPLAUSE4YOU 392
He can be offended when he decides to put together a concert for aid that benefits smaller areas of the US such as Asheville's devastation from the hurricane this past year (only country artists cared to put together a relief concert for that devastation and plenty of LA based artists promoted their music during that time period). LA and NY aren't the only beloved places in this massive country that deserve special attention/treatment. I feel horrible for the people impacted by these fires but we don't get to cherry pick which areas are worth halting normal life/business for. There is devastation all over the world, all the time.
Catnikko 13,981
i mean it's bad yeah, horrible situation but why is he acting like people are promoting music in the midst of the 2004 tsunami https://linktr.ee/jamalholt

Ivy 11,718
Of all time??? Celebrities are so self centered sometimes Not that I don't feel bad for everyone affected, but I'm sure he was promoting his music at some time when something horrible was happening in the world, it just wasn't affecting him and his rich friends
monketsharona 58,295
There were hundred of dead people during Spain flood late last year. Where was the support of those Hollywood stars ? Not enough weathly people involved and no Oscars burnt that time ? Don't get me wrong it's sad situation. But those Hollywood people trully live in a golden bubble.
