Israel's delayed the meeting to approve it and blames Hamas wanting undisclosed last minute concessions. Hamas denies this and says they support the deal in its entirity as announced. Sources are reporting the dispute is actually over which prisoners get released by Israel, apparently Hamas want some "big names" released to try and regain face. Obama's administration, which Biden was VP of, was the first time in a good while the US directly went against Israel's interest with the Iran deal and Biden spent a good chunk of his administration trying to build up Palestine with the intention of them becoming an independent state. Donald Trump is not only apathetic towards Palestinians and Muslims/Arabs as a whole, he's directly aggressive towards them. Israel's more willing to make a deal with him 'cause they know he has their back only where as Biden wanted mutual peace and prosperity for both Israel and the land Israel is coveting. Like @River said, Trump's a more useful bastard to them so their schemes and bullsh*t are safer with him as president. Biden's for sure not a strong president but a deal being reached now as opposed to earlier isn't something I'm personally gonna hold against him 'cause the only reason it happened is Trump's full throated allegiance to Israel and only Israel. The hostages all got released either Carter's last day in office or one of Reagan's first. Bottom line was it was mainly done I think for the sitting president to look weak. I also hate it that such deals never include anything about the unspoken of horrendous atrocities that are currently happening in the West Bank.
