I understand your point and agree in a way but you can't deny it's beneficial and kind of him to have his social media accounts posting links to charities instead of promoting his album.

If he would have just delayed his album then sure, that would be a weird, meaningless and empty gesture. But that's not the case.

We have to assume if Lady Gaga delays her album she'll do something similar. I just hope she stays away from the cringe inducing celebrity pseudo-activism she's notorious for and either helps or just stays out of the way.

Finally someone gets my point. The weeknd actually did something to help. That is what I have been trying to say all this time. I understand Gaga delaying is members of her team are victims, but she should do something to actually help all victims. Because indeed just delaying is a weird, meaningless and empty gesture.

Why do you pressure or compel her for doing something about this fire and why does her silence annoy you? If Abel did charity, it's generous of him. But it should be come with one's own genuine interest and shouldn't look pretentious. Gaga will be keeping these in mind if she wants to indulge in charity. I don't think Gaga is even obliged to convey what she contributed, she most likely chooses to do it behind closed doors if she decides to do something.

You need to understand the fact that she chooses not interact with us like before for obvious reasons. She has become more private now and we need to respect her space.

Yeah and if you added the eaton fire which is arpund 15,000 acres to the palisades 23,000....that's basically all of central London shown on that graphic.

Honestly these big celeb events take months of planning, require a significant security presence etc.

Uprooting them and moving them to another city would just be an operational nightmare even if a suitable venue were available.

And atm the only things completely scrapped are all the vote buying dinners and after parties. And they'll be scrapped purely to save the record label some cash.

I actually think when she delayed Chromatica and focused her efforts on raising money to tackle Covid, that was quite helpful!
