Well, that is very good. I have seen that as well. But all of thay could have been done without delaying the album. And maybe he also has teammembers that are victims, but the only reason he gave was out of respect. And that just seems useless

Are you 5 years old? It's her city n her community. N partners. People in despair. Imagine all your friends to lose everything n you to make a celebration because you don't wanna change plans. Dah. Shes not that person. And in business terms thank she doesn't. They would eat her alive.

I m sure she and her team will figure something that will be good for the people (donation?) n to not delay the album much. Maybe late February evening will be fine. But not now an announcement. Forget it

It’s not a maybe. It’s factual and REALITY to members on her team. 
 

1/3 of the of the Haus of Gaga reside in LA. Gaga’s own personal friends and business partners are living in LA. 
 

I’m happy you get the luxury of getting to whine because you don’t live in an affected area but this is Gaga’s literal COMMUNITY. She LIVES IN IT, RECORDS MUSIC IN IT. You are coming off really immature and really tone deaf to the situation. A lot of these artists have homes in LA, so of course they’re going to care about how they want to approach the fires. I couldn’t imagine how it would be seeing my neighborhood in ashes so of course I would want to put anything I can on hold to pull as many resources as I need to help my local first responders.

You are acting like the whole of LA has burned down, which it hasn’t. So don't act like the whole Haus has lost their houses, because we simply don't know. Maybe the main difference in understanding is because most places in Europe, where I come from, aren’t as big as the Netherlands, where I live. If some neighborhoods in Amsterdam were burning, of course I would care, but not so much that I would put everything down I am doing, since there is still the same distance as most of the fires have to Gagas mansion. And like I said, if there are Haus members that have lost their homes, I understand Gaga would do anything to help them. But first of all, we don't know, at least not from the most well known members, unless I missed the news, and second of all, delaying a whole promo schedule doesn’t give them their homes back or makes sure other people are safe. 
 

And like I said, I am not whining. I am saying the lack of any action that effectively helps people that lost their homes or to make sure the fires are contained, that annoys me. And we are also allowed to have opinions, so stop making comments like “you are happy that I have the luxury to whine”.

Here's some helpful little context for Non-LA based users as to the scale of just one of the LA wildfires. 

The Palisades fire currently would cover around 50% of central London (and is twice the size of the great fire of London) and would have essentially destroyed all of Queens in New York. 

Again. This is just one of the fires in the LA region.

I never insinuated that “these fires can be contained by sheer willpower”. But hey, put words in my mouth all you want. But lets all pretend that pausing everything entertainment related in the world will help contain those fires instead of focusing on actual solutions. I am sure all victims (and then I mean the ones that are not part of his team, of which we dont know anything) will sleep way better knowing that the Weeknds album is delayed for a whole week!
