Also, her promo strategy now seems to be keeping everything secret until the last minute (i.e., DWAS, Harlequin, Disease). All that to say that she’s going a different direction for this era. For all we know, she’ll do a surprise release. 𝕀𝕗 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕨𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕒 𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕟𝕖𝕣, 𝕀 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕞𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕓𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕧𝕖
Killa 15,870 Posted yesterday at 07:35 AM Share Posted yesterday at 07:35 AM U guys are a bit dense, of and they're be delays, its First a logistic problem, then a problem of personel as well. Do you not get that the industry has most of they're operations in that area. People can't work. And even an announcement from a huge star needs a lot of work from a lot of people. Now if Gaga had shipped the album and everything Is ready She might actually anticipate? So to not collide with other releases, or otherwise Shell postpone. She doesn't have that much of a choice because her schedule Is already set. Just Release without pre order at this point 6

For all we know, she’ll do a surprise release. and the different direction is a downgrade. Physicals, merch and performances should have been there bc it was quite literally her most beloved lead since Applause. Don’t know how she can do a surprise release when we already know there’s like max 4 days she could release on, with knowing her, the most likely being Friday Feb 28th… So if the sense is her grown ass team still fumbling releases, then sure. Sense made.

It's purely American centrism causing this Edited 23 hours ago by butthole
whoresup 1,897
I feel conflicted on this because obviously I feel awful for those affected and hope they rebuild their lives but I can’t help but think that if this was anywhere else in the world it would be business as usual.

News flash: these are American artists who most likely live very close to the fires and/or know people who have been affected by this. Its incredible to me that many of you are missing the fact that major music labels are in and around that area. Of course this is affecting schedules. You guys are acting like the delays are such unnecessary inconveniences to you. No, there is a direct correlation between the fires and people’s ability to work. Touch some ****ing grass. It would be business as usual. Because anywhere else in the world isn't "where the artist, her team, her label, her dancers, her MUAs etc" are all operating from.
Roughhouse Dandy 8,879
This whole thread is cursed. Americentric if she postpones because of a major disaster in a lot of her team's neck of the woods. The postponement is funny actually. But she'd be cold and insensitive if the announcement continued as scheduled. She can't possibly care that much about a wildfire that direct affects her and potentially her family's entire year anyway. And let's throw in some Gaga criticism while we're at it. This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

Damn, no new music ever again I guess. Edit: Also, it's not like all those celebrities care that much, they are just scared of people's reaction if they went on with their projects.
