I hope Gaga follows this trend of releasing the deluxe/additional tracks looong after the album We almost got that with ARTPOP (act 2) and Joanne (new music from the canceled dive bar tour 2017). Maybe now that the audience is used to this from other artists she'll feel more empowered to do it for LG7.

So I’m guessing Deluxe Version’s are back in again? Which imo makes no sense (since back in the day it helped sell more physical copies, and that was it’s original intention) nowadays people add “deluxe” songs to just profit off of success of albums.

Now that Wicked has been so big her label has probably realised she should’ve released the album AFTER the film and want to capitalise on the film. 
Had Gaga not done Harlequin I wonder if they’d have asked her to do something similar where she made her own renditions of the songs from the film.

Honestly I don't think this is a sign that deluxe version's are back. 
This is just Ari finding a way to keep her music career vaguely present in the small window between the Oscars & Wicked Pt2 without dropping a full era.

I mean deluxe albums and remix albums have started becoming a thing again with the likes of Chromatica and brat, but I feel like in 2025 they’ll be back in general just to capitalise on the hype of Wicked and ES. 
 

But I also agree it gives her something to do, she could just easily make an EP and have it not be related to ES tho

I mean it's probably just b-sides from ES, so I feel like just calling it a continuation avoids people going "ugh this new EP is just a rehash". Now they know up front it's a rehash lol 

They probably plan to release it in the summer to drum up some Ari hype ahead of Wicked pt2. And I'd put money on an Ari tour for Summer 2026.

They're new songs she wrote post-Eternal Sunshine, so not just leftovers from the original album's sessions. She talked about it over the summer. I assume she'll celebrate the album's 1 year anniversary by releasing it. This was also around the time she said she was going to do a mini tour between the two Wicked films
