Lil' MJ, here an advice of an elder, gaga is an easy target but she's not the problem, spend your energy the real rich people who exploits everything, including the stupidity of people like Musk, Bezos, the Kardashians, Taylor, Bey and Jay Zed, even Bill Gates who's supposed to be the good rich guy, has mansions, expensive cars and stuff.

And may I say that even though MJ was very giving, he still owned a big ranch with a zoo, cinema and amusement park that costing from 1988-2005 around $100 million, it may brought some joy to people, but it still was a privilege of a rich person that any of us most likely will never be able to afford.

The whole problem with stanning is that you get personally invested. Then when people change, it feels like a literal betrayal of sorts, like a good friend changing and becoming someone you don't recognize.

Miss Gaga is FAR from who I started stanning a decade ago and it wasn't a positive change in my eyes. She aborted her artistic growth and went full Hollywood with safe PR and artistic decisions made based on chart performance.

I'll listen to the music but MJ is back to being alone in my heart tbh.

I mean, I had my meltdown in the mod chat last night if you wanna know why I never saw MJ's wealth as a problem  

Dude not only put his money where his mouth was, he put himself there too. Visiting hospitals, orphanages, fans' homes, etc. Even had plans for a whole children's hospital after his residency ended in 2010. Funded AIDS and cancer research for years. Built homes for families. Paid for kids' educations. Funded wildlife conservation efforts. Found a kid a liver when he needed a transplant. Two whole world tours where every penny he made went to charity. The list goes on for miles.

I haven't seen that kind of stuff from Gaga and I'm tired of waiting for it to come 'cause it just isn't  she's just gonna marry her billionaire bf, get richer, and be more and more reclusive as time goes on.

She's not the problem, but she is a symptom of the problem and she's not doing much to fix it  

But the cool thing about unstanning is that I don't have to care about what she does anymore   and idrc who gets mad at me saying it either 'cause we can all feel the way we want about celebrities.

That parasocial crap is unhealthy anyway. My own mental health will benefit, even if only a bit, from seeing Gaga as just another popstar.

Really don't see the point in making a joke like this. An awards show is meant to be celebrating the best of the year, so why are you even bringing up something that wasn't nominated? It's weird how it's normal to do this at film awards, yet, I don't think they do this at music awards. You won't hear jokes about how 143 flopped at the Grammys. You certainly won't hear about musical productions that flopped at the Tony's. Have never watched the Emmy's so can't speak on that, but somehow, it's normal to take the piss out of movie flops at movie awards. Just seems like it might induce bad karma to me. The critics and public have already given it a lashing. No need to kick it while it's down. And "this movie didn't get nominated" is what the joke means. How is that funny? Its been noted that comedians how host these awards have been unfunny for a while now. This is no exception.

But it all came with a price, his health and mental health, it destroyed him, the same people he helped are the same people who put him on trial in the middle of city, they were ungrateful little leeches who tried to take more and more from him.

Same for Gaga, every time she opened her heart, took someone in, they abused and used her, like the dogsitter guy that campaigned against her for months, while she took him in and paid for his medical bill.

Anything she did, backfired at her at the end and her health can't take this mentally and physically.

 

a change should come from us, the average people, if we want to stop this stanning and rich and famous culture. they are unhealthy and abusive to us only, these people does everything, good or bad, for PR and to earn more from us.

That's not really what destroyed him tbh. The burn, subsequent lifelong drug addiction, and the pure stress from the false allegations that haunted him so badly he abandoned Neverland after his acquittal are what killed him.

And even that last part was just due to his own childhood trauma which made him seek out surrogate families while trying to recapture the developmental phase of his childhood that he spent singing for his dad in strip joints and clubs.

The charity work enriched him as a person and made the world a better place. Who knows how many lives he saved or changed for the better. He gave untold hundreds of millions to charity throughout his career and still lived a lavish life of luxury. There's really no excuse for anyone else.

It's like I said last night, it takes a certain level of inhumanity to get as rich as Gaga and STAY that rich.

Anyway, I don't really care that much about it to keep talking in circles. It's my opinion, share it or don't, that's Alright.mp3 with me.

I don't vibe with blaming consumers though. It gives "you complain about society and yet you live in society hmmm" vibes. We're all out here working our silly little 9-5 jobs doing whatever we can for enrichment in our lives dictated by the rich and powerful. Nothing less than a total violent, bloody uprising will change that and since that won't happen, and we can't rely on people like Gaga to redistribute their massive fortunes (she's far from the worst but she's still one of them), we at least retain the right to bitch about how unfair it all is
