Honestly, in her shoes, having a lot of money already and business ventures even if i had great health id wanna relax more

 

But with health as bad as hers, id definitely take a step back. Money unfortunately can only buy so much health even for billionaires (which some reports have suggested she already reached billionaire status).

 

Even with extreme wealth, money and expensive treatments dont take away the need for rest and good care.

I think the demands of an A-list singer especially with touring and special performances is too exhausting for someone who not only has lupus but on top of that is already living with a transplant and all the meds she must regularly take to avoid rejection etc

 

Acting in most cases is more laid back than music (provided its only intense long hour reality TV or weekly TV series with tight filming deadlines which have become less common since the death of cable tv).... it makes sense for her health to focus less on music!

SELENA? A BILLIONAIRE?? She has accumulated one thousand million dollars?? Surely not!

I've enjoyed watching her in Only Murders the past few years too. Although even when she's acting she seems tired. Luckily it fits the character of Mabel lol

I was surprised too but aparently shes also gotten involved in business ventures so her wealth is not purely from what she earned from entertainment

 

Also with inflation and all Billionaires are really not as rare a status among the the rich as it used to be. $1B now is like $400M when we were kids

 

An insane amount of wealth still to be sure (too much) but not as hard for the rich to attain as it was before

 

I remember when millionaires was a rare status too for the average person. Now any boomer that has their home payed off is automatically a millionaire in net worth terms. It doesnt mean what it used to mean, like nearly half of ppl reach that status at some point in their lives even if they are cash poor

She has Rare Beauty that is worth 1 billion. many billionaires like Selena, Rihanna do not own 1B on their account but their billionaire status comes from the value of their businesses.
