Is this the reason the LG7 Era feels empty right now?

Gaga is more distant at the moment, but remember, no one expected JFAD to do the way it did. If it performed the way Gaga thought it was going to, she would be knee deep in oscar campaigning right now. Just think about it. The Oscars are on March 2. The voting period is between Jan 8 - Feb 18.

She planned to release LG7 in February, maybe even the end of Februay. It is highly likely that she had december and january blocked in her calendar to maximize her chances of getting that best actress oscar she wants so much. They also thought that the popularity of JFAD was going to help Disease.

It just fell apart in a way that no one could have predicted, but for this reason there were no bigger plans to promote Disease and there were limits on what they could arrange after the fact. Like the carpool karaoke or recording some live versions.

On the bright side, Gaga's schedule opening up allowed her time to record her cameo for Wednesday season 2 so at least that will be amazing content for us this year. #BloodyMaryForever

Honestly I think you are right.

I think its a shame they didn't move to fill in the gap though. Because the JFAD collapse was known pretty quickly, they definitely had time to get into the music promo slots and do more. 

I think the larger issue is that even though Gaga is visibly feeling very passionate about the creative aspect of this new album. The reality is she just isn't the Gaga of 2008-2011. 

The narrative is Michael convinced her to do a pop LG7. And although publicly she looks very happy with what is coming. She's clearly a different Gaga in terms of her connection to the music industry. And I don't think we'll ever see a big Gaga era again in terms of music videos/singles. I think her tours and shows will still be big spectacles. I just expect bigger breaks between eras and less content outside of tours.

Meh  It did so happen they Better come up with more flexible Plan or adapt Better.

I doubt this cause of theres Someone Who would react fast was Gaga.

Because yeah feels empty but more than that. It was obvious from the First screenings, maybe not so much on Venice but It was pretty clear in that First week this was a condemned project. 

Lol She could have waited 3 days for that post. Anyways the amount of different releases followed by silence with droplets once in a while was a bad Plan. Im sure but It lead tò disinterest and She needs to think her actions Better for her fans. The fanbase has diminished. Its not like She doesn't feed the fans with content. Yes, of course it was bc of the whole Joker situation, and i don’t think it was as easy as to have a Plan B, her whole reputation came down and there was needed a “cooling down” time, bc else everything will be hated back then. I think now we can say the negative backlash is mostly gone.

Ok, but as far as I'm concerned I don't mind so much the lack of content right now as I'm puzzled by the lack of announcement.

Also, I don't think we should expect anything more than a cute cameo on Wednesday. They've been shooting this show for months, she was just there for a couple days, so let's be real and spare ourselves the disappointment when it does turn out she's in there for no more than 5 minutes.

This is something that puzzles me. Because yeah apparently it's a cameo, but she was there for more than a few days. IIRC it was more like 10 days. If she is only on screen for a few seconds, does it really take that long? Maybe she has an 1 episode appearance or something more substantial, IDK.

Of course it will definitely be more than a blink and you'll miss it moment, but I don't think anyone should expect anything too substantial.

Ever think that she’s just on holidays and spending time with her family & friends? I’m sure this was the plan after Joker 2 to relax and Disease was just a taste of LG7 before she kicks off the year with it. She did a lot in 2024 in general from the Jazz shows, to editing the Chromatica Ball, recording the album, Haus Labs, and god knows what else. Give her a break.
