The album’s out next month… they cant wait any longer to start preorders and promo. The absolute latest should be Tuesday Jan 7th - and no the album has not been delayed

I mean the Madonna show wasn't announced until March - but the rumours also only started emerging in January so probably got the official contracts signed later. 

She "owes" Latin America so I could see the logic of combining the official LG7 announcement with the Rio announcement. 
Be even better if they drop a 2nd single
