When it was obvious she was gonna sell millions, I am sure they made way more just in case. The cost was gonna be more than amortized

As it stands, lots still collecting dust now, regardless, so they overproduced that. Add to that getting lots of unkind reception from smaller artists who need to delay their own releases cos of this. Bad for her image.
