She teased disease almost two months before its release and remained totally silent about it 4 days before it dropped when she announced it officially with release date. If the album drops on Feb 28 she can easily announce it at the end of Jan with the second singe, absolutely no need before

I was about to say that Disease probably hasn't too much left to be milked, but I also just remembered that it came back at the Hot 100 last week...

I do think DWAS will still have some hype but I ain't sure about Disease, yk? I'm aware it hit the charts again, but at 99 and I haven't seen any massive hype about it again

If it’s just pushed until March, I’d consider ourselves lucky… Honestly have no idea what’s going on with this era, the lack of info is really making it hard to believe we’ll get a full album in less than 2 months, but I’d love to be proven wrong.

I hope not, this rollout is so frustrating, we just want some infos and the album title at this point. Why does it always have to be so complicated with her.

Disease is a very risky song lyrically, it's a bop though and has done pretty well with over 100M streams since release..... I do think she needs a more GP friendly song from the album as the second single, and releasing it in middle/late Jan with the alnum in late feb March would be cute. So maybe she can do a grammys compilation of disease and single 2 as well as a performance with bruno mars.

she promoted disease heavily post release with the live acoustic versions, and carpool karaoke. tbh I think announcing either this week or next week for single two is good timing, people are coming off the holidays, and die with a smile is about to be the first #1 of the hot 100 in 2025, so announcing around the time the charts come out could bring attention to the second single and the hopeful album pre orders.

and i really hope that, if it actually is pushed back another month, that time is used to give more promo because right now we’re starting to run out of time…

I mean, she didn't properly tease DWAS or Disease until the week of their respective releases. I don't think her silence indicates anything other than the obvious promo strategy they've chosen for this era: keep everything secret until the last minute.

I would love to have some new single with a proper promotion this time and some room to appreciate it before the album. I’ll be in gagacabana so I wouldn’t mind that much a release closer to the show. But idk, I think she’s too silent for someone who’s releasing an album next month, I’m hyped and anxious but I’m ok this time, Disease and DWAS still feeding me, the other versions she released were great as well, praying for a really meticulous planned promotion scheme for the album.
