Kanye criticized for hiding Nazi symbols in new Yeezy clothing line

Kanye West has been heavily criticized for including hidden Nazi symbols in his latest line of Yeezy clothing.

The rapper and fashion designer launched the range of clothing on Thursday (December 26) and it includes a variety of T-shirts, hoodies and jackets, among other items.

The clothes feature various logos including one which resembles the Wolfsangel, a symbol closely associated with Nazi Germany as it was worn by various SS (Schutzstaffel) units during the Second World War.

Today, the symbol is associated with neo-Nazis and is used by the Aryan Nations white supremacist gang as their logo. The move sparked backlash on social media.  source source

ok but the one on the font is a bit of a reach, the font is also pretty damn close to literally any old book or old newspaper or even many current newspapers still. but the other ones are ... unsurprising, and not even disappointing at this stage since Kanye has been in a downward spiral for the better part of a decade now. I think it all started going down hill after the start of Kimye, because the Kardashians are the root cause of everything wrong in America.

Ok but just to be clear about one thing: the font is just Blackletter. It’s a type of calligraphy and is widespread. Nothing to do with the Nazi party.

So his “fashion” is just plain white basics with black Nazi logos? And people actually buy this garbage, like unironically? And people think this is “cool”? 
 

Kanye is the most overrated artist to me. I don’t see the appeal and I don’t see the “genius” many pretentious critics see. 
 

I saw him at Outside Lands a few years ago when he would wear those full face masks and talk for 20 mins straight. There was this group of fans behind me that were standing on a plastic fold down picnic table chanting “Yeezus! Yeezus!” They were a bit annoying but hey, they were watching their fave. Then all of a sudden I hear screams and look back and that picnic table collapsed. I felt bad for laughing but they were all just fine.
