It's almost like Katy wanted this project to fail, like she wanted to quit making music but didn't want to disappoint her remaining fans, so she created an album deliberately awful with a producer that no one with integrity would touch with a ten foot pole and then she can just say the negative reviews and poor sales caused her label to drop her and make her decide never to make music again. But the continuation of this era with more singles and music videos, a re-release and a world tour would suggest otherwise. It would say she is proud of this and her label has given it their full support. I don't know what she's doing. I don't know if she does either. This comes from someone who has never liked Katy btw but I could never get into ANY song from Witness except for Chained To The Rhythm. Cry About It Later was a step in the right direction, she didn’t need to crawl back to Dr. Luke but maybe should’ve talked to Bonnie McKee. 143 is a bad album and those were the songs that made the cut, now all of these deluxe tracks truly show what tragedy they scrapped.
