Michael Buble says guy in the suit image was created by record label

So, he pursued singing jazz standards but never expected to have a "lounge singer in a suit" image? Surely he knew he'd be pigeonholed? Its always bugged me that for years he just puts out an album of mostly covers and it sells millions and he has a sell-out world tour, I don't know why you'd buy lots of cover albums, although people have majorly cooled off on him after his Christmas album and it's like they just play the stuff from that album and before now. But he remains a mainstay even though he doesn't have successful original songs anymore and just relies completely on covers, which is very hard to do these days. If he's just putting out this image and music because it makes him money, well, that's pretty sad, honestly.

Back in quarantine his wife and him used to do live broadcasts and there were many times that his body language was hostile against her. She would interrupt him or speak on top of him and he would elbow her or look at her angrily and she would instantly apologize to him.

After her fans were worried, she came to his defence.

His body language was weird and as a victim of domestic violence, I would say it was triggering of sorts.

As I understand it, his Argentinian wife really didn't speak much English either when they got together. I assume she's much better now if she's doing these videos with him but long before this happened, I remember some people were saying that their relationship was concerning that they really didn't speak each others language but got married. It's rarely a good sign.

Poor thing had to pretend to be someone else by wearing a suit and tie. What a rough life he has. I feel so bad for him :neyde:

What the **** is he trying to say

Same thing Gaga means when she says "I am Lady Gaga. But I'm also Stefani, right? I'm not my real self on stage but it gives me so much power it's like wearing a superhero cape." :vegas:

but dont get it twisted, Gaga was her own creation and it is an autenthic part of her, her record label didnt have anything to do with it

Am I missing something? What's wrong with him having a stage persona that's different from his irl personality?

No one complains when say rappers act like they're hardcore gangsters that **** different women all the time, when in reality they're mild-mannered and going home each day to their wife and kids in their nice house lol.

It sounds like he’s whining about it. It’s generally hard to feel any sympathy for these people complaining about such trivial things. It’s not like millions of people wake up everyday to put on clothes for a job they despise…

If hea only bringing it up after all this time i dunno... u also cant hear his tone in writing to determine if hes whining or not

If he is whinning, sure I agree he has it too good to feel sorry for

But if hes merely openly talking about something he didnt like, i think thats fine and has a right to.

I dont think its fair to be overly restrictive on what celebs can say without always throwing it back in their face that they have it easy because then ur essentially saying celebs arent allowed to be open about their struggles period which I think is unfair. Being rich doesnt mean u cant have problems too especially emotional ones

I think it's better to avoid speculating about the situation of people whom none of us knows or will ever know. It's not productive and can even be harmful to those around us who may be going through a situation of domestic violence.
