same boost happened with ARTPOP & DWUW in 2013. DWUW went #1 iTunes USA fast because there were ARTPOP pre-orders already before the song was released.

Well, that's a healthy gap for midweek predictions. Absolutely hate that it looks like ABS might go back to No. 1 the week after due to radio giving it massive gains God knows why.

Ah yes 😂 when she releases a Gagatastic song, you little monsters make it flop. Just when Disease was released all the Negative Nancies in Gagadaily were crying about how bad the song is. Her own fans didn't support her when she does a dark pop song.

I totally agree with you that some complain too much, absolutely. But dont say when Gaga released the dark PopGa we wanted that we didnt support. I think its super clear the overwhelming reception here was positive, perhaps the most for a lead since Bad Romance. And many talked about how they cant stop streaming

 

But face it, our numbers are not quite high enough to guarantee success if GP doesnt bite. A song under performing does not mean fans didnt support so ppl can stop making those accusations, they are completely false

I have a feeling its only going #2 here in Canada tho. ABS hasnt fallen as much on radio and I dont think DWAS rose as much on radio

Who tf is listening to A Bar Song? Who actually likes it?! I’ve seen nothing but PRAISE for DWAS and more than a fair share of negative comments about ABS. The fact that ABS has been #1 on the US chart for weeks and DWAS hasn’t…says a lot about US music taste. Smh.

At least DWAS is pron going #1 for at least 1 week and dethrowning it in the US

 

Here in Canada the race is much tighter than A Bar Song is likely to return to #1 this week and DWAS be blocked at #2

 

Then next week Gracies new song will prabably overtake and we will have a crappy #2 peak because that Bar Song refuses to die in time

Indeed, a sub set of our already small fanbase is somehow carrying the song. It's just difficult to ignore the negativity in this site. When DWAS and Disease were released, we could see that the half of the site was unsatisfied. Even outside Gagadaily, I could see comments like "I expected more", "It's too noisy", "The music video is like it's been made for the sake of being dark." This is something I see in every release since ARTPOP. 

I'm not vilifying the entire fanbase when I'm literally a part of it, but my stand remains clear. Gaga may not be as successful if she releases dark pop to please the little monsters, but she still gets success in adult contemporary. Even if the fanbase complaints about it, the GP still streams it.
