I wouldn't give anything for granted, we have been there 2 times in the last weeks and we know what happened :franminervini:

And new year's eve is around the corner, who knows what effect it could have

:sharon: In the past the top 2 were neck-in-neck and DWAS lost over a couple points difference. I don't think you realize how a big a 37-point lead is. New year's eve is absolutely not going to magically grant a song 40 points

Ok, glad to hear. I would rather be cautious than start celebrating already to end up in a huge dissapointment if something happens :cheeky:

I am gonna bookmark this topic and if she ends up being #2 I will come for you :trollga:

I could’ve sworn there was one week where the first prediction had DWAS ahead of ABS by a long stretch but then as the week went on it was predicted to do less and then ABS was predicted to do more and then we lost :(

EDIT: I’m still VERY optimistic about this week though :)

They are 100% right tho. It was 1 or 2 points projection difference last time

You can see the radio Gap is way more narrow now. A Bar Song is still #1 on radio but its ahead by a much smaller margin than it was the last couple times they battled

Meanwhile DWAS is way more head in streams than it was before. On spotify DWAS has nearly DOUBLE the daily streams ABS has and even on apple music where Gaga does less well shes ahead of ABS there too although by a smaller margin than on spotify

The small 11M gap on radio wont be anywhere near enough to save A Bar Song from the big difference in streams especially since streams count more than radio. Even if the gap on radio grows again by end of the week to 15M to be conservative, DWAS would still be ahead

Last time it was close. But now its basically on lock unless some major surprise release from a big artist ruins everything tho were already on Sunday so I think were safe but it has happened before that a monday release went #1. But thats the only way I see DWAS failing at #1. It would have to be a huge surprise release out of nowhere. It wont be A Bar Song that will block it this time

It is close to being the longest #1 ever, and in terms of points in the top 40 here (so 1 pt if you are at #40, 40pts for #1) it is already Gagas highest scoring song. Dutchies love Gagas ballads. In the yearly top 2000 Shallow has been around #46 for a few years, DWAS was the 2nd or 3rd highest debut of the year at 185ish, and ARUTW is also quite high

Wow incredible :applause:

Yeah in Portugal (where Im also from) it has been huge as well, bigger than in Canada. It was #1 on spotify from early on and stayed there for several weeks at about 40% more streams than song at #2 and it caught on radio almost right away while in Canada only in late November they finally started playing it more (at least in my area)

In Portugal its only not #1 now because some huge artist there (Plutonio) released and his top songs are even bigger and have been blocking DWAS ever since but DWAS is still doing super well, just not enough to beat Plutonios insane numbers

I find it weird that a ballad is doing better in Europe than North America considering the stereotype is her Country or Ballad songs do better in USA & Canada and her electro and synth pop do better in Europe :ladyhaha:

How is disease doing there?
